Reliable Storage with a Quick Learning Curve
This is a great flash drive overall. I really like the swivel design, which makes it easy to switch between the iPhone connector and the USB connector. That feature is extremely convenient. The size is perfect, the compatibility is excellent, and the materials feel durable and well-made. Installation was very easy and straightforward.The only issue I experienced was during the formatting process. I made sure to properly eject the drive from my laptop using the “Safely Remove Hardware” option before disconnecting it. However, when I plugged it into another computer, it did not work correctly and appeared to be corrupted. I had to repeat the process several times before I figured out what was happening. Even after selecting “Safely Eject,” I found that I had to wait and make sure the device had completely disconnected before physically removing it. Once I did that, it worked properly.Aside from that issue, I am very happy with this flash drive and would recommend it for its convenience, durability, and dual-device compatibility.Ver másVer menos

Simple and Hassle free
This 512GB MFi Certified Flash Drive works well for backing up photos and videos from my iPhone. Setup was simple, and transferring files was fast and hassle-free. The compact design makes it easy to carry around, and it's been a convenient way to free up space on my phone. My only wish is that it came in an even larger storage capacity, as I have a lot of photos and videos. Overall, it's a reliable and useful product.Ver másVer menos

It works, but ...
I wanted to use an old iPhone 12 Pro Max as both a navigation device and an eBook reader, but I did not have an external drive with a lightning connector to transfer data. I did have a usb-c to lightning adapter but the usb-c external drives that I used never showed up in the Files app as external memory and so I bought this to use to store and transfer eBooks and the like. While it works it requires both a special app and extra work to move files back and forth.When I plugged the drive into the iPhone I was told to install the LuxSync PRO app and, once installed, the drive showed up on that app, but not on the normal iPhone Files app. I could then transfer files from my MacBook to the external drive (using the usb-a connector and the included usb-a to usb-c adapter), then connect the drive to the iPhone and using the special app copy the files to a special location on the iPhone that is not accessible just using the iPhone Files app. Once that is done I can separately move files, again using the LuxSync Pro app, from this protected folder to other folder locations on the iPhone, so the process involves two separate steps.Blanbok+, the company that markets the drive, also has their own Blanbok app in the App Store and it is largely identical to the app loaded onto the iPhone, but it does not work with this Blanbok+ drive so you will need to use either this app or iMazing to do the transfers. It is a bit of a pain, and the memory does not seem particularly fast, but it does work. The transfer speed and the inconvenience are the reasons for the one star reduction in my rating.Ver másVer menos

Very, very slow and NOT user friendly.
Well, Butter my ears and call me "FATSO"!Why is it we can make robots that walk and dance, and have AI that answers complicated questions in milliseconds, yet Apple nor no one else has been able to find a way to get our pictures from our I-phone to our PC computer in an easy, timely and organized fashion? I found this process to be a huge PAIN. All this old man wanted was to have a simple storage device to plug into my IPHONE and dump my pictures to so I wouldn't have to sit at the computer for hours waiting for them to go through the USB cable a few at a time.Of course actually expecting this, or ANY device to transfer FOLDERS, that already have the pictures, movies and panoramas already ORGANIZED on the phone, and get them to the computer that way - is asking WAY to much. The instructions were microscopic and poorly written, (but we are used to that), however, the "LuxSync" app you are told to download and use - transfers pictures as monstrous multi-megabyte uncompressed .png files. If I wanted to transfer them 20 at a time while I wait for New Year's Day, I would have plugged in my old cable to the computer and done it the same, inefficient way.Between the freezing and locking up, pitiful instructions, time spent looking up solutions and workarounds on the WEB, installing alternative apps, USB not being recognized, bloated file sizes, and a dozen other things. Your kids will grow up and graduate post secondary school before you get this maze figured out and 800 pictures off your phone.It's a simple, stupid USB drive!! How many problems can you engineer into it to make it a miserable experience? Why are the USB drives we use in out computers so easy to "plug and play" and immediately start using? Would it be too much to ask if these worked like that? I guess so."How I despise thee? Let me count the ways!"Ver másVer menos

Nice Thumb drive!
I purchased this flash drive to help me with saving pictures from my IPad that I got tired of paying monthly for google space. I was tired of being prisoner of that. This drive transfers faster than I expected. I will get another one for my wife’s picture. So glad I took a chance with this drive. Easy to use, and I’m not tech savvy.Ver másVer menos
