Great, sturdy little tackle box
First off, this container is very well built and thought out for the price. The gasketing appears robust, with positive pressure when latched, and the dessicant holder is a nice touch. The dividers slot in place easily and are secure, unlike many other brands. It also has great capacity for a tackle box it's size. The latch itself feels a little clunky to use, but that is just a user issue; I find myself trying to operate it backwards, attempting to flip it off the lid when it needs to be lifted up from the side first. Of course, that latching mechanism is what allows for such a good seal when secured.If you are purchasing it for it's intended use, a 3500 series tackle box, I don't think you'll find fault with it. It deserves five stars if used as it was designed to be.I purchased this during my quest for a first aid pack organizer. This was the only decent looking waterproof option that fit into my pack.Here's what I wanted to know for my use case that I couldn't seem to find on the listing or other reviews:The foam in the bottom compartment is about 1/4" thick, and if removed would leave you with a single compartment about 3/4" deep. I have not yet removed my foam, so I don't know how much of a process that will be.The divider walls are a bit more narrow than I'd like for organizing bandages, and it would be nice if they were all removable. It's not as versatile as I had hoped. I believe that I could solve my issues with a Dremel, and may do just that. Untill then I'll toss in some partial rolls of tape and assorted Band-Aids, and have a better organized, if spatially inefficient, pack.Final verdict:If you want a great, affordable, waterproof tackle box this is a stellar option.If you want something to efficiently organize first aid supplies out of the box with no modifications, this isn't the best option.Ver másVer menos

These are great!
Ok, so I fish In Hawaii - and one of the techniques we use is “bubble and fly”. Basically you take a #2 to 3/0 saltwater streamer fly, put it on a 20 pound 5’ or 6’ leader and use a water bubble to give you enough weight to launch it out there and then you work it back fast like popper. The Jacks go nuts for this.These boxes work GREAT as a combo fly box and a place to store terminal tackle for setting up bubble fly, and a few popping plugs, minnow plugs, or dressed Kastmaster spoons.The “jig storage” side is perfect for storing your flies so they don’t get squashed and your tinsel and flash doesn’t get kinked up.One of these fits in my 5.11 chest pack - with room for phone, keys, wallet, and my CCW.They are waterproof proof, float if dropped, and pretty impactful resistant.Really good quality flat storage boxes. And PERFECT for my particular use.Ver másVer menos

Great tackle box
Owned for a few months now. I live in Florida and it use it saltwater fishing no issues with the seals at all and this thing gets completely submerged most days. This is my favorite tackle box I’ve ever bought works well for holding the essentials in a small footprint.Ver másVer menos

Good, just not for finesse/small terminal tackle
It’s nice but avoid if you’re looking for a box to store finesse sized terminal tackle. Hooks up to about 1/0, swivels, and snaps don’t stay contained and get mixed with each other as soon as the box is turned over. It’s otherwise solid for jig heads, finesse hover rigs, neds, small hard baits, etc. Seals tight and is just as sturdy as the other KK hyperseal boxes and Plano thin edge boxes.Ver másVer menos

Compact, Waterproof, and Perfect for Quick Trips
I really like the KastKing HyperSeal 3500 Double-Sided Waterproof Fishing Tackle Box. Kast King 3500 double-sided tacklebox
The best tackle box that KastKing has ever made by far!! The latches close super well, and the whole thing just seems super durable. The double sided feature makes it a great value for money spent. It’s so nice that you can fit your jig, heads or hooks on one side and then either terminal tackle or soft plastics on the other! I really hope they start making these in a 3600 and 3700. I’m definitely a little confused why they decided to only come out with the 3500 size?Ver másVer menos
