I’m in love. The standalone high hat, rim shots on every drum, and 3 zone ride cymbal make this the perfect e-drum upgrade, or final kit. The toms and snare are bigger than the 200, plus you get a fourth tom. The high hat has all three modes of playing (closed, open, and in between (barks)). The kick drum is big enough for a double bass pedal. The module is such an upgrade from the 200 series, and has a slot to hold your tablet and phone. Sturdy mounting frame. Easy assembly and wiring. The choice of drum kit sounds are perfect and diverse enough to never get bored. Playing with Melodics and the Donner App make practice so much more fun and has made my playing so much better. For the price, I don’t think you can find a kit that compares. This was an upgrade from my last kit, knowing I would outgrow the old one when I bought it, but I can’t imagine outgrowing this kit anytime soon, if ever. There’s room on the rack to add accessories and the drums themselves feel and sound as professional as anything I’ve ever played. Price for value can’t be beat.Ver másVer menos

Perfect electronic drums for any level
Great set of drums. Easy assembly and sound wonderful. Highly recommend. I use the for just practicing with an audio track in my home. Perfect and so much more quieter than an acoustic set.

My grandson has been playing guitar for several years and he has become quite good at it. Lately he has expressed an interest in taking up drums so when I saw I had the chance to acquire this I jumped on it. The instructions need a lot of work. It took four and a half hours to assemble it. Half of that time was assembling the high hat. I am a 100% beginner at this and the assembly process was frustrating. I'm sure for someone who knows what their doing the whole process would be much easier. The key needed for assembly was provided but I found myself using pliers on that key because the whole base would fold in on itself unless you really torqued down hard on it. There really isn't that much noise when he's using it. It needs to be connected to an amp to get any volume out of it or you can use a set of wired headphones. It can get quite loud when using the headphones. I'm impressed with the sound quality but keep in mind I'm no expert. It sounds exactly like a regular drum set to my untrained ear. We tried using the app but when downloading it this particular drum set was not listed. Since it's a new item we will try again sometime down the road. The cymbals and drums are very sensitive to being struck by a drum stick. Strike it lightly and you get a light sound, harder and it's louder. In my opinion this can completely replace a traditional drum set on a stage. It feels very well made and should last quite awhile. There is an included module that can change the sound of both the drums and cymbals. There are many, many different sounds and settings and it will take quite awhile to learn them all but there should be enough to pretty much suit anyone's needs. I realize that this drum set is probably a lot more than we needed as beginners but it just gives us room to grow as musicians.Ver másVer menos

Cymbals and kick pad
Great sound pads have excellent rebound the cymbals and the kick pad don’t respond all the time and the rack is flimsy unless you really crank down the hardware with a wrench.

UNPLAYABLE JUNK!!! It's not even a good enough to be called a toy!!!
First turn off was the super cheap samples, they sound worse than a cheap keyboard from the 90s! Secondly was the fact that the kit came completely uncalibrated which meant that I had to spend an hour trying to dial in a sensitivity setting to get it somewhat closer to being playable (but still not actually playable). The problem with this is that everything constantly shifts volume mix / sensitivity / threshold / etc meaning that I can't actually dial anything in to make it consistent in its performance and functionality! As soon as you think you have something a quarter of the way decently dialed in, everything shifts again! They spent a lot of time making it look like a good quality kit, but as they say, looks can be deceiving! I wouldn't recommend this for beginners, amateurs, and especially professionals! I hate the fact that I am now stuck with this because of how hard it would be to repackage and ship this back! Totally regret my purchase...Ver másVer menos

Gorgeous, easy to assemble, full size professional drum set
I am blown away! I was pretty scared when this got delivered to be honest! The box was huge and very heavy! It was a 2 man job to get the box up the stairs at my apartment. When I opened the box I was pleased and scared to see that there was multiple boxes inside the main box that contained and separated all the components. Even though it appeared intimidating, I was glad that everything arrived in such amazing condition. It's always scary when ordering something heavy that has to get delivered. This came with everything you could need or want to get going! The instruction book provided minimal written instruction on how to assemble everything but it was surprisingly easy to get it all together. Just pay attention to where the attachment pieces are and you won't have to worry about having to take this apart and put it back together. I recommend putting it together using about 45 degree angle and adjust afterwards. All tools are provided that you will need to assemble. The module piece is very nice looking and I love that there is a stand on there to place your phone or tablet or music book. My 13 year old son was playing music right away and the miracle here is that it's not disruptive at all. If you have this out of the room you are in and the user has headphones in, you're set. This is perfect for adults and kids but the price tag says this is for a serious drummer only. I would absolutely recommend this for quality and versatility and ease of installation. You will not need to run to any store in the process of putting this together because everything is in the box. It's beautiful, professional, easy to assemble even if you've never assembled any drum set in your life.Ver másVer menos
