’ve been very impressed with this JUGBOW dog training collar so far. The remote feels solid and comfortable to hold, and the screen is easy to read. Safe and useful collar
This is a great collar. The charge lasts a long time. Works good on my gsd. I used the shock on myself first, it will not hurt your pet. It is a very safe collar.great value and love the green color. The beep works, I dont have to use the shock anymore.

Decent but not for thick coated or hairy breeds
Giving it a 4 because I think it works well... but not for hairy or thick coated breeds. It did fine for my collie before he got his full coat, but now he can't feel it at all without trimming his fur (which grows back in 2 days). I really wish this brand made a winged contactor. I ordered one from a different company but it doesnt fit this collar. Luckily, I married an engineer who is redesigning the attachment. So, while this probably does the trick for thin coated dogs, or short haired dogs, it more than likely will only cause frustration if you try it with a GSD or collie (I have both, so speaking from experience).My only other gripe is with the collar itself. Both the collar and remote hold an IMPRESSIVE charge (charged both of them before a 4 day camping trip and they lasted the whole time, with days to spare). However, it is super annoying to have to clean the charging port in the collar before each charge. It is 2 little metal contacts set in the plastic that collect a nice little film of mud and grime. I have to soak them with alcohol then clean them out with a toothpick and q-tip every time I charge the collar. A simple flexible cover would've done wonders in this area.Otherwise, not bad for the price. It did fine for basic e collar training before my boy got too hairy. Hoping we can get back on track once the winged contacts are fitted. I wouldn't recommend it for thick coated or hairy breeds.Ver másVer menos

This collar has been a life-changing blessing for our dog!
This collar *transformed* our pup’s life in the most wonderful ways! We have a goldendoodle puppy and worked SO hard to train her, but after ten months still dealt with four main naughty behaviors: 1) counter surfing, 2) jumping up, 3) getting into the trash, and 4) play biting. We watched a zillion YT videos and tried everything we could to use only positive reinforcement, but I honestly feel like our “only positive” efforts backfired and we would get MORE of the naughty behaviors, not less, AND we started to get demand barking! Because of these naughty behaviors, we could not have her out of her kennel unless we could have our attention very focused on her, which made it impossible to get anything else done. As a result, she ended up in her kennel a LOT every day. I couldn’t understand why she could not just chill out and lay down and just be with us! Finally, after she literally jumped up onto our kitchen table with all four feet (!), I decided we HAD to do something about the counter surfing. I found this collar and decided to give it a try.At first, I felt guilty and was honestly nervous that it would hurt her or that she would be too stubborn and even the max shock would be ineffective for her. However, after trying it out on my own arm, I put it on her and just began with the vibration mode. Imagine my surprise when just the vibration mode was sufficient for her!! She was *immediately* responsive to the vibration for ALL of her naughty behaviors. The absolutely BEST part, was that within a couple of days, she went from spending only an hour or two out of her crate a couple of times a day to being able to spend the ENTIRE day out of her crate! I will never forget the first time she actually gave up on trying to get into mischief and just laid down on the floor beside the couch where we were watching tv! Hallelujah!!! Ever since getting this collar, she has been able to be out with us literally all day long and be part of everything we are doing. This collar has honestly improved her life so much!We still use it mainly on the highest setting of the vibration mode. When my elderly parents visit, I do use the shock mode (fairly low - maybe at 25?) to prevent her jumping on them because I'm afraid she could knock them down. She doesn't respond negatively to the shock but does heed the correction.One little caveat I must mention – Because the collar addressed our dog’s most exasperating behaviors, we found ourselves becoming lazy about intentional training on all sorts of basics we’d previously worked hard on (stay, come, loose leash walking, etc.). Don’t be lazy like us, LOL! The collar helps a ton when a negative consequence is necessary, but actual training is still important, and everything that you can give positive reinforcement for, you should keep working on. The collar is an additional awesome tool in your toolbox, not the only tool!

Great training collar that works well
I’ve been very happy with this training collar. It was easy to set up, and the remote is simple to use. The range is excellent, and the battery lasts a long time between charges. I also like that it offers beep, vibration, and static correction so you can choose the training method that works best for your dog. The collar feels durable, fits well, and has held up to daily use. Overall, it’s a great value and has been an effective tool for reinforcing commands and improving my dog’s behavior.
