Let me start off by saying this is less of a TV and more like a large tablet or smartphone on wheels, and I mean that in the best possible way. It runs a full Android 14 interface that feels identical to most modern phones, which makes it incredibly intuitive. You can download all the apps you’d ever want from Google Play, and that alone opens up a huge range of uses, from streaming to productivity to casual browsing.Premium Build Quality & Modern AestheticThe build quality genuinely impressed me. Everything feels solid, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The white finish gives it a sleek, modern look that fits nicely into almost any room. The base is heavy and stable, and the caster wheels underneath roll smoothly on hard floors. It does struggle a bit on carpet, but that’s expected for something with this kind of weight and footprint.The center pole is metal and very sturdy once assembled. The monitor snaps securely onto a metal mount, and the whole setup feels like it was engineered with longevity in mind. Assembly was surprisingly easy and the instructions were clear, and everything fit together without any frustration. The power cable runs neatly inside the center pole and the USB-C power cord is perfectly lined up to the port on the back of the monitor - it's a very clean, well thought out design.Highly Adjustable & VersatileThe mount is one of the standout features. You can tilt, swivel, rotate between vertical and horizontal, and raise or lower the screen to your liking. It offers far more flexibility than I expected, and it makes the device useful in a wide range of scenarios from watching movies, following recipes in the kitchen, video calls, presentations, or even using it as a secondary display.Great for EntertainmentI’ve mainly used this for movies and TV shows, and it performs very well. A Masterclass is Industrial Design and Product Execution, I'm seriously Impressed.

When I received this portable display for my review, I did not expect I would be giving it 5-stars. The price just seemed too high for what it is, but after trying it out and using it for about 2 weeks - I get it, and its all in the execution.My initial skepticism... a 27in 1080p display is easy to find for <$200... so where does the additional $900 from?Lets just start with the aesthetics - from any angle, this portable display is clean, minimalist, and visually captivating. The screen is framed in a thin aluminum bezel (this is not just a monitor in a housing), the back side is completely finished with a bezel covering the mount to the stand, and rather powerful speakers built in. The stand itself is finished in a mildly textured powder coat, perfectly matching the monitor and base, and its exceptionally stiff. The base is pretty significant, and has decent mass too - also minimalistic in style, with only a power socket, button, and battery lights.Functionally, since its android based, its full of capabilities. Think of it like an android phone thats huge and on a stand. Its touch screen, so its intuitive to navigate. While you do get a remote, its functionality is somewhat limited unless you're just clicking buttons on the screen - but its great for on-off and volume. One thing that stood out immediately after assembling, this portable display glides like a dream. The ability to adjust the screen height and rotate to portrait and tilt is also buttery smooth and precise. This product really considered the user experience and spared no expense ensuring it was top-shelf quality. Assembly took me 10min and was intuitive.Performance wise, I was able to stream, run complex apps, and even do emails without a studder - this thing has a processor comparable to the latest Samsung phones - I wasn't able to bog it down. Battery life was as advertised (about 5hrs streaming), but it can run continuously plugged in, and charges fast (about 2hrs for me, from near empty).I remember assembling it and noticing the quality of the caster wheels used - definitely high capacity, but a soft rubber and with ball bearings in the pivot and axle. Assembled, it glides like its on a cushion of air, and manages floor transitions well. The wheels are a little small for smooth movement on a deep pile carpet, but anything low pile, or any hard surface will be fine.Some key info not found in the product page. In landscape at the lowest height the bottom of the screen is 37in off the floor, and at the highest height the top of the screen is 46in off the floor. The battery base is about 16in around, very close to the width of the screen in portrait.One thing I would love to track down is a web-cam for this kit. The backside of the display has a mount for it - but I don't see it on Sylvok's site - that would turn this into the ultimate remote meeting tool. I would get one for my folks so they can videocall their grandkids.Still not convinced the price is a good value, check out Sylvox's page and see the quality of the consumer electronics they put out. This isn't some off-brand knockoff shop - they only to top-end equipment, and this 27" Portable display is a stunning example of no-compromises smart design. To me, this product adds up to value - its not an integration, its a ground up design - optimized for functionality, aesthetics, and performance.

The Sylvox 27" Portable TV on Wheels, Smart Touchscreen Monitor is truly an excellent addition to any home. The build quality feels solid and premium, and it was very easy to install right out of the box. The design is modern and elegant, especially in white, which blends beautifully into my kitchen décor. The rolling stand is smooth and stable, and I love how effortlessly I can move it from one corner to another depending on where I’m working. The full swivel and adjustable screen make it extremely convenient to position at the perfect angle. The 1080P display is clear and bright, making videos look sharp and vibrant. The battery lasting around 4–5 hours is very practical, especially when I don’t want cables around while cooking. It has become a wonderful and useful companion while I’m doing my kitchen work. The downside is that you can’t use it to watch traditional TV channels directly, which may disappoint some users expecting a built-in tuner. Also, there is currently no way to change the home town language settings, which can be inconvenient.Ver más

A rolling, entertaining experience, that blends home comforts and physical interaction together

This "portable TV on wheels" from brand SYLVOX was indeed quite a roller-coaster ride to get it off the ground and rolling the way it was meant to function, but ultimately my expectations have been met with both a fairly positive user experience of the device, but with the addition of an absolutely exceptional customer service experience, also.Let's start off with the basics of operation. This is a touchscreen, Android-based tablet experience much like you might be accustomed to with a handheld tablet, except it is connected to a pole and a substantial 10,000mAh battery-base with wheels, that allows mobile navigation of the much larger screen around your home office or kitchen or bedroom space; wherever you most prefer to utilize the unit. The purported time of use on a single battery charge is about 4-5 hours, and so far I have noted this is an accurate time frame.The brand provides a Bluetooth-activated remote control air-mouse of a sort, with some basic button controls, but it's more of an after-thought, and is meant mostly for when you're sitting on the couch and just want to navigate a menu or switch episodes on your favourite streaming app, etc.Unlike a handheld tablet, there is no camera built-in to this device, however there is a digital connection point in the back, where you can attach a brand-based camera, but it is unfortunately sold separately. I had really hoped to be able to experience that feature, as my plan is to use this device primarily for a photo-booth setup. However I am pleased to note that the monitor has a series of built-in peripheral inputs, including both USB and HDMI, so I can attach my camera of choice to this device, and use a variety of photo-booth apps available on the Android ecosystem.The benefit of an HDMI port also allows one to connect this device to their favourite gaming console, which adds overall value to the use of the device. If you drop a USB stick into the back, this also makes a lovely, large-screen photo and video frame, when you're not actively using it for another purpose.I will note that I had some issues initially getting the touch-screen interface to function adequately, but the customer service relationship I formed with the brand as a result, was absolutely stellar, and I cannot praise SYLVOX enough for their impeccable treatment and desire to resolve issues to a fault. Once the issues were resolved, my experience with the device improved exponentially, and I was able to enjoy it significantly more.There are a few caveats, but nothing detrimental to overall enjoyment; the device features a 1080p resolution screen, so I did not find it be the sharpest picture, and might suggest the brand works on an at least up-scaled 4K device in the future. 1080p is perfectly fine for a handheld tablet, but is starting to show its age on a much larger screen. The brand offers both 27 inch and 32 inch options in this particular model. There is rotation and swivel available on the screen, and this is a fairly smooth experience. You can set the screen face-forward, or give it some tilt when using it as a touch interface. I also might have liked the experience even more if I was able to swivel the screen to a fully-flat desk-like orientation, however it is limited to only an est. 90 degree pivot rotation. This is more than serviceable however, and again to not detract from my overall enjoyment.Most features on the Android 14 ecosystem function as you might expect, very similar to the layout and aesthetic of a standard handheld tablet, but with some system functions designed for a TV-centrist experience also. The brand has incorporated a total of 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of solid state hard drive storage, which is sufficient, but nothing mind blowing. There is the occasional slowdown, and that can be a little bit jarring when using memory-intensive apps like graphically responsive desktop themes, and games that normally require better hardware overall.This is not to say you can't play likely 85-90% of the gaming titles available on the Play Store, but there will be a handful that are likely just not going to give you enough FPS (frames per second) to make the experience enjoyable. I was able to get some free options like Roblox or the base Minecraft functioning very well with no issues, so kids would absolutely have a blast using this larger screen as a basic entertainment platform without the need to purchase an additional console.There is of course many options for video streaming as well, most platforms you are familiar with will have an accessible app on the Play Store. I noted that, because this device seems to not be upgradeable to a more modern version of Android post-system 14, there are some social media apps that are not compatible, but do have web-browser alternatives that work just as well.Overall, this is a very competent entertainment system, that can go around your home with you. You could use it as a very serviceable photo booth as I plan to, or behind your music keyboard as a large-screen play partner, or watch recipes and cooking advice in the kitchen, play games and watch movies in your kids playroom, or just to have in your office with an AI assistant activated. Really, the possibilities are fairly endless, within reason.I think the most satisfying part of my experience was the interaction with the company, who treated my concerns with both knowledge and respect, and enriched my enjoyment of this rolling TV just that much more. 5 stars for the overall experience.

portable, easy to use, does its job well

This Sylvox 27" portable TV on wheels came very well packaged. The package included everything to set it up. The setup is very simple and straight forward. It took me about 10-15 minutes to have this thing all set up.Initially, the piece I received was not working so I contacted the customer service. The customer service was very responsive. I called their 1-800 number from the Warranty card and the customer care rep on the call tried his best to help me out but unfortunately the monitor did not turn on. Then they sent me a return shipping label free of cost and also sent me a new piece which is working absolutely perfectly. This experience with customer service was outstanding. I would rate them 5 stars based on the service they provided.The TV itself is basically a big Android tablet with Android 14 OS installed on it. You can log in to Google play store with your gmail account and literally download any app that you want. It comes with many popular apps pre-loaded though.The TV is 1080p but the screen quality is really good. I have installed a bunch of heavy graphic games on it and they work smoothly without any problem.I have also played youtube videos on it and they work like they should. The audio quality is decent but that depends on the source you are using audio from.The monitor can be tilted, swivelled or rotated for best experience. You can use it horizontally or vertically. It works fine and gives same quality both ways.The base is pretty heavy but the good thing is that it has wheels. This heavy base helps the monitor stand firmly and not fall over. You can easily move it anywhere you like. The wheels are good quality and move very smoothly.Once it is fully charged, the battery life goes long. In my experience, it easily goes 4 to 5 hours during continuous use. I used it while keeping the charger connected and I could not feel any heat etc from base of the monitor.Overall, I think this is a very good monitor which can be used for multiple purposes.
