Great Quality and Perfect for Organizing a Growing Watch Collection
I began collecting watches about a year ago, and as my collection started to grow, I wanted a better way to store and protect them when they weren’t being worn. I primarily purchased the ProCase Travel Watch Case to replace the individual boxes and cases that each watch originally came with, and it has made rotating my watches for weekly wear much more convenient and accessible. My first impression of the case was very positive. It appears to be extremely well constructed, with durable exterior materials, solid stitching, and a high-quality zipper that feels like it will hold up well over time. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with plenty of spacing between watches so they don’t come into contact with one another during storage. Even my larger 44–45mm watches fit comfortably with room to spare side to side, which was something I was specifically concerned about before purchasing. Each watch fits snugly inside its individual compartment, and the cushions work very well for standard men’s watches. I have a 7-3/4 inch wrist, and all of my watches wrap around the cushions with very little play. The cushions are soft and pliable enough to compress for smaller watch sizes, although I personally would not recommend using them for very small ladies’ watches because repeated tension could potentially loosen bracelets or stress adjustment pins over time.Although this case is marketed as a travel case, there is one minor point worth mentioning. When the case is fully closed, there is a slight amount of play between the inside top of the case and the watch faces. The top section is nicely padded, so I do not think this would be an issue for normal handling or storage. However, if I were using it regularly for travel, I would probably place a layer of bubble wrap or similar padding between the watches and the top flap just to eliminate any movement entirely. I debated knocking off a star because of this, but chose not to because I really like the case for my intended purpose.I also wanted to note some other reviewers noted a bad industrial or chemical smell emanating from the case when they opened it for the first time, which required airing out. My case did not emanate any strange odors and I was able to start using it immediately. It arrived clean and well-packaged.Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase, especially at the $20–$25 price point. The quality, storage layout, and protection exceeded my expectations, and I like it so much that I already ordered a second case to separate my solar and quartz watches. For anyone looking for an affordable, well-designed watch storage solution with enough room for larger watches, this case is an excellent value.Ver másVer menos
