An Absolute Monster
This is a really beefy knife. If you have large hands, the handle will fit nicely. If you have small hands, I would stay away from this knife. They are not kidding about the XL; not only is the handle big, but the blade is large. It is long, thick and heavy. I would not plan on carrying this in your pocket. It is noticeably heavy.The build quality is really good. I like the fit and finish. The blade is nicely ground. That being said, it took a little work on my fine stone and some stropping to reach optimal sharpness. I think it came sharp enough for use by normal people. On the other hand, this is not really a knife for normal people. I would stay away from this knife if you don't know how to sharpen or have easy access to a sharpening service. This is not a knock against this knife. It is just that the blade material is 14c28n. It is tough but it will dull with frequent use.I love the action on the knife. It opens with little effort despite the heavy blade. It also has a really satisfying click on opening. The closing action is easy, but you should exercise caution because this is a liner lock. This means that your fingers could be in the path of the blade. It is best to disengage the lock while the knife is upside down. You can then remove your fingers from the path of the blade before gently pushing the blade into the closed position.The best uses for this knife are for the kitchen and for camping and other outdoors activity. It may be beefy enough for survival/bushcraft tasks, but I would still insist on a fixed blade, just in case. In a pinch, this would probably do. I would just stay away from battoning because destructive testing is the only way to be sure. I would say that this knife has excellent usability so long as you understand that the beefyness of this knife would exclude it from EDC.Overall, I love this knife. I love how it feels in my hand, and it has its place in my collection. For what you get, I feel this is a good value.Ver másVer menos

This thing is ridiculous
In all the best ways. Isn’t big? Yes! But this thing is built really well for the price and has a great edge. Surprisingly easy to carry and opening it w the flip is addictive.Awesome knife!!!

Nice knife to add to anyone’s collection
I really like the looks of this knife, for the price. I haven’t seen any other knives out there with carbon fiber handles, and descent steel at this price. I like 154 steel. I have an old Osborne bench made knife that’s over 30 years old, made with 154cm, and not a scratch, on the blade, that still holds an edge good. This knife feels good in my hand, and looks good. The only con I have with it, I don’t really like the locking setup it has. But I have inspected it, and looks like they beefed it up, better than there other knifes. I saw some reviews that mentioned it as being a huge knife, lol this knife fits in your pocket fine, and it’s not a huge knife. I have big pocket knives, and this isn’t one of them. I don’t know why people complain about a knife being to big, unless they want to carry a lot of other things in the same pocket. I do recommend buying this knife. Great piece of equipment.
This knife fits my hands perfectly. I have pretty big hands. My wedding ring size is a 15. That said, the design is solid. Action is smooth. The release mechanism is easy to use and seems secure. I have carried it for two days and barely even notice it in my pocket. I would definitely buy another one.-One month follow up: great knife! Carry it every day. Gets odd looks from people, the sound is pretty loud (and SOLID), and a few comments about how unusual it is, which I do not care for. I prefer to run under the radar in all aspects and this knife makes it difficult. However the function is excellent. Very happy with it both at work and everywhere else. Great, big, sharp "butcher" knife
Great knife! Perfect for big hands. It cuts rope - and anything else - like butter. I bought this after purchasing and loving the carbon graphite version. Hearing the ooohs and aaahs from others is a hoot. It has a very satisfying "thwack" when opening.

Whoa. Nice!
What a knife! The blade is sharp and has an excellent weight. Feels like the balance of a cleaver on a mini scale. The size is impressively large, but fits great in my jeans pocket. The action of the sealed ball bearing is superior. You don’t need an assist. It’s an easy flip or snap of the wrist. The lock is great. The blade finish is holding up surprisingly well. The handle material is superior as is the clip. I’m thoroughly impressed- enough so as to buy four other Kizer knives. The handle is perfect for my large hands.It’s worth msrp. If you’re in the market for a sizable EDC that’s impressive on the eyes and this design appeals- buy it. Out of three decades of having an EDC- this has become my favorite- even surpassing my Kershaw and Spyderco Emerson designs, my Vulcan SOG, my ZT and my Hogue knives. I’m not saying it kills those knives- but for the money, I’ll carry this every single day.Ver másVer menos
