Highly recommend for LlM/SLM work
Originally I was upgrading with this Threadripper PRO 9965WX because it had 128 PCIe lanes to accommodate 4 GPUs 5.0 x16 for my workstation build. Then as an unexpected twist, the Threadripper 9965WX combined with my 256GB of ECC are able to handle all of my R Studio analysis while leaving my GPUs' VRAM to handle LLM and SLM. Don't feed the scalpers.
Got mine for actual MSRP. Really hate what scalpers are doing to the market. Can finally upgrade from my tired old FX8350 to something I can use when working from home.
