Cannot be close to your modem
This is a great product but it did not work well because it was too close to my modem. It took a few days with customer service and my cameras customer service but it was the internet supplier that suggested it was to close to the router. As soon as I moved it further away it started to work great. It was easy to set up. It does not necessarily boost the speed but if there is less interference the speed will be better.Ver másVer menos

TL:TR: Impressive solution for large homes with lots of wifi connections and high bandwidth demand. Recommended.I am absolutely impressed with this mesh system.Range: I got the 2pk and the range covers my entire house (brick & plaster walls) plus 50 yards (150ft) out on the yard.Speed: I have GloFiber 2Gbs service and I get 2050U/D no problem all the time.Connectivity: I currently have 14 devices connected to the main and 8 to the second hub. 4k streams no longer lag, gaming no issues (2PCs) and all the lights, Alexa, thermostats, clocks all connected no problem. Something my NightHawk wife could not handle and bottlenecked at 1GBs speedInstallation: Easy BUT I must mention two things. 1. Requires Deco app. 2. After the whole installation happens, let the units sit ON for 5 minutes next to each other or till they both turn blue. I was impatient and thought I had a bad unit because after a minute, it wasn't connecting. My fault, after a few minutes, they both connected and I then moved the second unit where I wanted.Reliability: So far no issues. They do not disconnect, restart or any other odd behavior. They are quiet and un-intrusive.App: I like the Deco app. I can see and have many different control over all devices. More detailed controls like strick parental controls require subscription. I can do everything I need without subscription.Value: A bit pricy but well worth the money if you have a large house, looking for reliability, speed, control and ease of use.Ver másVer menos

⭐ Expensive Disappointment — Expected Premium Performance, Got FrustrationAt this price point, I expected this to be the last router system I'd ever need to buy. Instead, the TP-Link Deco BE14000 has been one of the most aggravating tech purchases I've made in years. I've given it nearly two months of troubleshooting, firmware updates, and reboots trying to make it work the way it should out of the box. I'm done being patient.Could not connect to modem...no matter how many times I rebooted the system or did a factory reset. Apparently, this one arrived DOA and I spent nearly two hours trying to get this connect to the internet. No issue with my Deco BE63.Wi-Fi 7 performance is nowhere near what's advertised. I upgraded specifically to take advantage of the newer standard and the headline 14 Gbps speeds. In real-world use on compatible devices, my speeds have been underwhelming — not dramatically better than what I had before. The 10G WAN port sounds impressive on paper, but it means nothing if the system can't maintain a stable connection in the first place.The Deco app is half-baked. It looks polished on the surface, but dig into the settings and you'll find missing features, vague diagnostics, and limited control over anything meaningful. Advanced users will find it frustrating, and even everyday users will hit walls. When something goes wrong, the app offers almost no useful information to help you troubleshoot.The hardware itself runs hot. The nodes are warm to the touch constantly, which does not inspire confidence about long-term reliability for a system I was counting on to be the backbone of my home network for years.I really wanted to love this. The hardware looks great, the specs read like a dream, and Wi-Fi 7 is genuinely exciting technology. But a router system's only job is to provide fast, stable, reliable internet — and this one fails at that fundamental task far too often. Save yourself the headache and the premium price tag. Connection speed
Got the 3-pack to set up in our new business, a 3-story, 15000 sqft 1871 Mason Building. Setup Was easy and quick. Satellites connected without issues and I am getting full speed on all floors. Paid for the Norton add on protection instead of doing each POS station seperately.App is easy to use and configure.Ver másVer menos

Great speed. All the control you want. MLO inlcuded.
Just got this up and running hooked into 5G fiber. House is multi-level and spread out. This 3 pack has Wi-Fi speeds of between 1500 Mbs and 250 Mbs in the far corner, depending on area and equipment receiving (e.g. PlayStation 4 only grabs 2.5). Our inbound hookup is in the basement (not ideal) so we are happy with these speeds. Set up was straight forward and simple using the app on my phone. It allows for control of devices by unit and has MLO. If I could lan it we would see speeds of 5.32G. Older house means that is a pain, and I am not sure about using existing 6cat coaxial from the days of cable that we do have running everywhere.Ver másVer menos

BE67 - Decent Wifi 7 home router, but TLS DNS currently not supported
Pros - Great for a simple home network setup. Has some great features for IOT segmentation and very strong wifi signal. Great for streaming video from online content providers. I would also give it thumbs up for value for money as well. And fairly decent response time for troubleshooting with TP-Link support professionals.Cons- If you have more than one set of TP link routers managed in your Deco Software and you decide to subscribe to the Security + feature to protect your network/s. It will only apply to one or the other.. Not to both and will not allow you to add a subscription to the second network.My setup was bit more difficult than some of the others here. I work in IT with a strong networking back ground and recognize that this is a home router (not SOHO/SMB/Ent Grade). But having owned two prior TP-Link routers and others (Netgear/eero/etc) There are certain basic features I expect to be able to use. The setup of these two routers was nothing short of infuriating.. SLOW boot times waiting multiple minutes to come up and sync. Much longer than two prior sets of TP-Link Deco's and the most recent being the XE75 with wifi 6E ... It booted fast.And the Achilles HEEL that cost me half the day configuring these devices multiple times and getting everything working only to have the wifi network slowly grind to a halt, both routers turn red out of the blue, and drop all internet connection was the manual configuration in the DHCP settings of TLS DNS (Quad 9). All of the prior routers including TP-Link supported with no issues. Contacted TP-Link Support and they confirmed.... "As a response from our higher supports, please note that deco be67 currently is not supported TLS DNS so that's why you cannot deal with. " So if securing your DNS requests to Quad9/Cloudflare (etc) is important to you.. This currently does not support it.Ver másVer menos
