Father's Day gift for the win! Almost as close as a razor blade.

This head shaver was an absolute home run for Father's Day!My husband has always stuck to a traditional "Bic" style manual razor to maintain his bald head. He had never used an electric head shaver before, so I wasn't entirely sure if he would even be interested in this, but he absolutely loves it.Here is how his transition went:The Learning Curve: He was super excited about the gift but a bit hesitant at first. To ease into it, he looked up a quick tutorial review on YouTube to get the exact details on how to get the best shave with it. After that first try, he was completely sold. The Shave Quality: While an electric shaver will never quite give you the microscopic closeness of an actual razor blade, this machine gets pretty damn close. It delivers a remarkably smooth, clean finish without the usual razor nicks.Easy Maintenance: The flexing head makes it incredibly easy to navigate the contours of his head, and cleaning the device afterward is quick and painless. If you have a manual razor loyalist who is hesitant to try an electric shaver, this high-quality unit is the perfect upgrade. It saves a ton of time and delivers excellent results!Ver más

Glides Smoothly Over Scalp

The Philips Norelco Head Shaver Pro 9000 Series has exceeded my expectations. The 360° flexing head really makes a difference—it glides smoothly over the scalp and adjusts easily to every contour, which results in a very close, even shave without needing multiple passes. The ComfortCut blades are gentle on the skin, and I’ve experienced little to no irritation, even with frequent use. What I appreciate most is how efficient and convenient it is. It cuts down shaving time significantly compared to traditional razors, and cleanup is quick and simple. The build quality feels premium, and it’s comfortable to hold and maneuver, whether using it on a dry or wet shave.Battery life is solid, and it holds a charge well, making it reliable for regular use or travel. Overall, this is a high-quality shaver that delivers a clean, comfortable shave with minimal effort—definitely worth it if you’re looking for an easy, skin-friendly grooming solution.Ver más

Decent experience with philips

The battery life lasts a long time. I can get multiple shaves out of one charge. The machine is very easy to use and with time it becomes second nature. I feel like im getting my money's worth out of the shaver. It's an excellent value. The cleaning is simple. Detach the bottom part and rinse under the tap. It's very well made I believe it will last me for many years. The shave is close but not as close as a high end foil shaver or manual razor. Overall great product.Side note: be careful when detaching the bottom part holding the blades the lock could unlock causing the blades to fall and get mixed up. It has happened to me twice already and I've had to throw the blades away because the guards and blades have a unique wear from use and they can't get mixed up with the others.Ver más

Good device at a good cost

Very successful device. Result is very close to traditional razor smoothness. Even if you prefer to have a traditional shave, this device can easily be used daily to preserve the smoothness. You can decrease the number of need of traditional shaving. Cleaning is also very easy. Normally these type of devices are pain to clean. However this device has a room for the cut pieces that can be easily cleaned. Also the bowl coming within the package is so easy to use and device cleans itself in a couple of minutes. I couldn’t reach end of battery life after 5-6 shaves. Of course this depends on usage but for my case charging duration is really good. Last but not least, device is so lightweight and easy to hold. You can hold it in two different types which increases your speed to shave.Ver más

Life changing daily shave

I have sensitive skin so it can be hard for me to find shaving products that work for me. I had been using a Braun foil shaver designed for the face with decent results.I wanted to find a product that would allow me to form a daily routine of shaving my head. This is the best shaving product I have used for the face or head area. The ease of use is excellent with great areas for gripping. It can be held between your fingers or held by the handle. Very ergonomic.Shaving performance is close and excellent. My head/skin can feel raw after most shaves. I see little to no irritation day to day using the head shaver pro 9000.Cleaning is a breeze. Pop the head off, rinse under water and run it in the cleaning up to release all hair and give it a good cleaning. It’s also easy to disassemble to give it a deep clean which is not needed often. After 6 months of use nearly every day, I fully recommend this shaver. It’s a quick, easy, clean, no irritation shave. Convenient for everyday use and great battery life.Ver más

The Best On The Market, Pull The String And Get One…

So Im’a try and keep this simple and helpful, So I've been shaving with Gillette Razors for years, from the Mach 3, fusion 5, pro guide , the new Gillette Lab , murkur adjustable double edge razors.I also have a Norelco SP9841 prestige electric shaver , plus a Panasonic arc 6 .With that being said I am really into my shaving I shave my head And my face every day, and I Ihad been using my regular razors daily , until I ran across the new head shaver from Phillip Norelco,I was excited to purchase it to try it out , which I’ve only had it for three days and I love it,The HS9980/40 and the HS 7980/40 has the same cutting performance and runtime, but I purchased the HS 99 80–40 because I wanted the three indicator lights. The head shaver, shave my head so close to the skin that I haven’t used a regular razor in the last three days I probably won’t be using a regular razor anymore, because the new Philip Norelco Shavers HS9980 is doing a fantastic job, although it’s my first head shaver I truly believe it’s the best on the market right now and probably will be for sometime in the future, I like a wet shave with shaving cream because it seems to give me a closer shave and when I say close I mean baby booty close.I do two passes with the head shaver and re-lather up for each shave just like I would with a regular razor then after I clean up my from shaving with the head shaver, I put on my moisturizer on my head and then I re-go over my head to get all the little extra left hairs and that cleans my head up real smooth, then I back it up and use my Panasonic arc 6 foil shaver and go over my head again. And man i’m telling you the new Norelco head shaver shaves fast and it doesn’t take me much time to do two shave passes and get a clean close shave, I just love how well it shaves my head like I’ve use a regular razors it’s awesome. To me the key is to give it time for your head to get use to using a Electric rotary shaver if you’re new to it, and you should start being able to tell a difference in the performance. I use my Phillip Norelco Sp9841 on my face and it gives me the same type of close shave on my face as well, I am a big fan of Phillip Norelco shavers, i’m so glad I have waited to fine the perfect head shaver & the best. Like I said I haven’t touched a regular razors in three days and there’s no need to because my shave is the same and probably even better, and faster 5 to 10 minutes and i’m done shaving.Clean-up is so simple and fast I just rinse the shaver head off under warm water shake it off and send it to the side to dry and it’s ready for the next shave for the next day,The battery life to me is excellent I’ve shave for three days so far and it’s still on the third indicator light which is great to me, I think the 90 minute run time will give me lots of shaves. To sum up my review if you’re on the fence about purchasing one of the new Philip Norelco head Shavers, don’t hesitate pull the string you won’t be disappointed, just give it some time to adapt to it. I love the head shaver so much I’m telling everybody about it, I hope my review is helpful to someone or lots of people that is thinking about purchasing the new Phillip Norelco head shaver.
