Excellent thermal pads for laptop cooling upgrades
I used the Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad High Compression while repasting and replacing the thermal pads on my Alienware m17 R3, and the results were honestly better than expected. These pads are very soft and compress easily, which made them perfect for a laptop where component heights aren’t always perfectly even.Installation was straightforward the material cuts cleanly and adapts really well once the heatsink is tightened down. After reassembly, I noticed more stable temperatures during gaming sessions and less aggressive fan ramping compared to the stock pads.What I like most is how forgiving they are. Even if your measurements aren’t 100% exact, the high compression helps maintain proper contact between VRMs, memory modules, and the heatsink.
