  3 Week Review - Excellent for My 11 Year Old Active Son - No Bluetooth with gizmo's.

  Short Answer - Bought for my 11 year old. Loves it. Charge has held for 3 weeks. Works great. No Bluetooth.Long answer He wanted a 'smart watch' because all the kids have them. No way I would put Bluetooth on his wrist all day. Don't care what anyone says or published not healthy for a child to wear all day.   No water at all. Not kid user friendly for anything other than the watch setting.

  Update: it broke. Will not work. Conveniently right after the return window closed. Not pleased with this purchase at all and I bought one for each of my kids. Never again.Initial: Not user friendly. I purchased so my 11 year old could keep up with times for cross country running. The timer is not easy to get to and the pedometer is not either. For the money I guess I should have known what I was getting but hoped for better. It’s a fine watch and timer once you figure it out… still frustrating to remember how many times to hit the button and how long to hold it down. It also does not hold up to hand washing or forgetting it on in the shower. A little water and the screen starts to glitch.Ver másVer menos

  Disappointed

  This has been a big disappointment. My son has used it for two weeks, and it seems to be malfunctioning. It keeps displaying confusing symbols, and won’t even keep the time correctly.Update: As I reflect, though, I am considering the possibility that we caused water damage. While the watch instructions say it is fine in shallow water, maybe swimming doesn’t count for that? In my frustration, I was probably too harsh in giving it 1 star.   Cheap, simple and effective solution

  Praise: I bought this for my kid to have an alarm for his band classes at school. This watch has an amazing battery life. My son wouldn't charge it almost all week, and he would still be using it the following week. This watch shows the time, it has a 2-alarm capacity, it counts steps, calculates calories burnt, and distance travelled. I mainly bought this because many other watches have Bluetooth capability just to see notifications or something else. That means that the watch emits radiation on the persons wrist while they wear it. I wouldn't trade my son's health for having notifications shown from my phone. Even a low amount of radiation from a smartwatch amounts over time with many other sources of radiation.Polish: The calorie counter and the measured distance are probably not the most accurate, yet they give you some information. The good thing about the charging cable is that is it very easy to use you just snap it on because it is magnetic. But it is a little weak so it can be easily taken off or not seated right causing it to not charge.I really liked this cheap and simple solution for what it does.Ver másVer menos
