We’ve been using this Wireless CarPlay Screen (7” HD Touch) in our tractor, and it honestly works better than some of the systems that come factory-installed in our newer vehicles. My husband uses it every single day so he can stay hands-free while listening to music and taking calls, and he has nothing but good things to say about it.One of the funniest, and most impressive, things is how quickly it connects. He jokes that it almost works too good, because it connects as soon as he even gets near the tractor. There’s no lag, no hassle, just instant connection every time, which makes a huge difference when you’re hopping in and out all day.The screen is clear, responsive, and super easy to use. You don’t have to be tech-savvy to figure it out, and everything is simple and straightforward. It has made his work days more enjoyable and a lot more convenient.Overall, this is an amazing little device for the price. Easy setup, fast connection, clear screen, and reliable performance. I would 100% recommend it to anyone who wants an easy way to add CarPlay to a vehicle, tractor, or older car without all the complicated installation. Music playback is fantastic. Amazing, wireless car play for o cheap and it's totally seamless.
I finally found a solution to Apple Car Play for may 2011 odyssey, and I think its better than a radio replacement . I found this screen does wireless carplay and nothing more, and i dont want it do do anything more. Its pretty awesome, I stuck it to the side triangle window. I had my phone there for years on a holder. I chose to buy a right angle jack to make it more flush, that was only like $7. I ran the wires behind the the little lighter door and under the dash and up behind the door rubber.Everything works through AUX, and I keep the cars onboard bluetooth connected for phone calls, because using it for phone calls is better but i still control the call through this screen, really cool. Its better because using this screens on board mic causes an echo on the callers side, its not too anoying but its there, at least in my car. Being clear, using the onboard car phone feature is seamless with the car play, they work together, so its not a negative at all. But the controls on it, mute, "hey siri call XXX" all that works. Siri will read your texts, send messages, map works, music, everything like normal carplay, and I just start the car and in 10 seconds its going by itself. Sound quality is really good too. It also has a dim feature that is easy to get to. I am very happy. I have seen other options that have you take the dash apart for $600 to $700 and I read that it can be finiky.There are several others out on amazon, some have backup cameras, and others have dash cam, I just got simple carplay only.Ver másVer menos

An easy way to add CarPlay or Android Auto to your older car.
Wow! Was not expecting much for the price, but this particular wireless 7" screen allows you to add CarPlay or Android Auto easily. Screen quality surprisingly crisp. Build quality seems to be above average (for the price) and in the first couple of months of ownership, there have been no real problems.The screen connects to your source via Bluetooth and in our case it only took about 2 minutes to go from unpacked to in the car and working. As noted by others, the built-in speaker is acceptable but just barely. However the included mini-audio connector worked fine. Better still was just directing the iPhone's audio output to its own Bluetooth connection directly to our Mini Cooper Connected sound system painlessly. As you can see in the photos here. It fits fine - we're using a smaller magnetic mount and velcro rather than the gear included because the form of the Mini's dash. I prefer the screen to be on the console rather than in the middle of my driving view.As to compatibility - both the latest Android OS and iOS versions work well, but we typically favor CarPlay over Android Auto but that's a personal preference. The display is bright and offers OK contrast. I would not be using this to watch videos to be sure, but for WAZE, Maps and other mainstay applications, it's good.The screen itself is responsive to the touch and is no more prone to fingerprints than anything else you touch in a car!What don't I like? Why not 5 stars? TBH, I think 4 stars is generous; but the price mitigates a lot of the problems. So let's get to those. I hate the power adaptor setup. With only one 12V cigarette lighter based connection. You will definitely be monitoring your phone's battery whilst driving. A spare connection in the charger base would have only added less than a dollar to the build costs...and it makes a huge difference in daily life. The other missing element would have been a built-in battery. So when swapping out cords, things don't die immediately. But for sure, a battery means significantly more weight and costs so, again, it's the trade offs for the price points that all manufacturers have to make.For 10+ year old cars that can't accommodate modern electronics upgrades easily. Impressed with features, ease of setup and price!
I am writing this review after 2 days of usage, so far I am relatively impressed. It's not a perfect device but far and away more than I expected for the money. I am using this device connecting through the FM transmitter. Connection was a little tricky as you have to start and stop the FM band to get the frequency you want. With a little trial and error, I got it done. The rest of the setup connection was easy and quick. The menus are sharp, bright and clear. Decent response from the touch screen although it does not hide fingerprints well. Lot's of options for setup, menus, backgrounds, sound (including a rather impressive EQ) . It more or less mirrors what is on my cell phone for whatever apps it works with. I'm an android user, it finds my messaging, outlook, wase, Amazon Music plays like a champ, and various other minor apps. It even displays my cellphone background. I'm sure there a features I haven't figured out yet but for the relatively low price, I am impressed with the features thus far. You really can't go wrong with this device.Ver másVer menos

Device good, but bad bracket limits functionality
The product works exactly as described, consistently connecting quickly with the designated phone once initial setup has been complete. For my car, which has a damaged aux port, the FM transmitter option was a selling point of the item and it works quite well; there is some minor fuzz to the sound quality, but that's to be expected. Even the built-in speaker on the device itself, while not particularly loud, is a better option than merely playing music through the speaker on my phone, so I consider the device itself a win all around for those with older cars. However, the whole package gets three stars because the included bracket isn't very functional, which affects the usefulness of the whole device. The slots where the back of the device connects to the bracket aren't very secure and even a minor bump in the road can cause the device to jump off the bracket; at the same time, the suction cup that attaches the bracket to the car is very weak. Even attaching the suction cup to a completely clean and flat surface, the adhesive wasn't strong enough to hold the weight of the device without peeling the suction/adhesive away and causing it to fall down. Resting the edge of the device against the dash does help take some of the strain off the bracket, but also risks causing the device to fall out of the bracket itself, since the connection points are so weak. There is no way to use the bracket reliably without additional adhesive or some other way of connecting it to the car. For that reason, I would recommend purchasing a different model with a better bracket, or planning to attach this model to your vehicle in a different way.Ver másVer menos

I bought this 7-inch wireless CarPlay screen and the truth is that it exceeded all my expectations. The installation was very simple, I didn't have to make modifications to the car, and in a few minutes I already had it working.The connection with CarPlay and Android Auto is fast and stable, even wirelessly. The HD touch screen looks sharp and responds very well to touch, which makes using it while driving very comfortable and safe. In addition, Bluetooth works perfectly for calls and music, and the FM transmitter is a great option if your car does not have an AUX input.Voice control also works properly, allowing me to keep my hands on the steering wheel.
