Effective Treat: Scar tape for surgical scars is suitable for proliferative scars, keloid scars, surgical scars, C-section scars and other kinds of old and new scars. (Do not use on open wounds that have not scabbed over). It treats scars through three principles of action: Physical closure: reduces external irritation. Moisturising and softening: softens the stratum corneum and relieves scar hardness. Inhibit fibroplasia: reduce collagen build-up and prevent further thickening of the scar. Easy To Use: Our silicone scar sheets have been clinically tested and proven to be effective in reducing redness, swelling, pain and discomfort; promoting wound healing; and improving the overall appearance of scars. Soft, lightweight and breathable, these scar patches do not cause discomfort or residue even after 24 hours of continuous use, and can be easily cut to fit any size scar, making them very convenient. Medical Grade Silicone Tape: Made from 100% pure hospital-grade silicone. The scar away silicone scar patch mimics the skin's natural barrier and fits snugly against the skin without peeling. Passed skin irritation, sensitization and cytotoxicity tests; they are non-irritating, hypoallergenic and non-cytotoxic to the skin. First results can be seen in as little as 4-6 weeks for new scars and 4-6 months for old scars to show significant improvement. Thickened Medical Grade Scar Care Sheet: The package contains two rolls of 1.6"×120" silicone scar tape, totaling 240" (6M length). Scar away silicone scar sheets are a recommended scar treatment for hospitals and others, which can effectively soothe scars, lighten scars, prevent scars from continuing to grow, and will not produce other side effects. The thickened scar patch produces a more dramatic effect, but is also very light to use and does not feel stuffy.
