Works but incompatible with Sony CyberShot DSC-S50
It was a good item for the price but was not compatible with the equipment I needed it to be; a Sony cybershot DSC—S50. The mini SD card worked just fine with modern equipment but if you need a Memory Stick for this camera, the memory maximum is 128MB (Megabytes). So as a forewarning to any parents of The Backrooms fans children; this product does not and cannot work with the cybershot DSC-50. I have only had luck with an actual vintage memory stick thus far, and the a lot in this product’s USB reader is only suitable for the later memory stick PRO. The pro is a slimmer evolution of the prior’s “memory stick” and looks to be compatible with technology from 2002 and forward, not this product that refers to interfacing with Windows 98, ha!Ver másVer menos

The micro Sd kinda flops, but the adapter to pro stick duo and The white adapter work like a Charm. Works in a original 2006 sony

Underwhelming, but partially usable.
My e-book reader died recently, so I wanted this Memory Stick from HuiErHui to temporarily put back into service my ancient Sony PRS-600 while I select a new reader to take its place. The Memory Stick did not work for this, so I had to make other plans.First thing to know: The low quality of the USB card reader is impressive. On my unit, the metal shell is bent around the Memory Stick slot, so the Memory Stick cannot be inserted. Also, all the parts of the reader are friction-fit, and loosely, at that, so I think there's a good chance the USB connector and "guts" of the reader will eventually be left behind as the shell comes off when trying to remove it -- this did not happen to me, but that's how poor the build quality is; I disassembled the entire reader without tools in about 3 seconds (see picture). If you need a reliable reader, this is not the one.Next, the "Memory Stick" itself: It has most marking of a genuine Sony item including "MagicGate" branding and "Made in Japan" printed on the back. The MagicGate claim is clearly not true, as it requires a proprietary Sony chip (my PSP lists MagicGate as "Unknown"). I doubt this was made in Japan, either.In use: My PRS-600 e-book reader did not recognize this card, but that's my fault -- this reader is so old that it does not support 16GB Memory Sticks. I then tested it with my PSP; it recognized the card just fine, but it's a step-down from the larger-capacity card it currently has so I don't need it there. I then settled on using it with my old Cyber-shot DSC-W830. It functions as expected there, with no appreciable drop in performance when capturing pictures or videos when compared to a smaller-capacity SD card from a reputable brand. This is an upgrade this camera never saw coming.The value of this kit (for most potential buyers) will lie in two things: 1- the Duo adapter is just a top-loading tray and is not as nice as the Sony original, but this entire kit is cheaper than buying one in NOS condition and it allows compatibility of the smaller Memory Sticks with older devices. 2- The Memory Stick in this listing is not actually a Memory Stick in itself, but a microSD to Memory Stick adapter. I question the viability of the included 16GB generic microSD card for high-speed applications, but the ability to pair this adapter with a high-quality microSD card is the only thing that this kit has really going for it.It works fine as-is on my old camera, but I only recommend this kit if you need the Duo adapter or a microSD to Memory Stick adapter, and you should throw the USB card reader in the rubbish bin.

Cheapest Sony Adapter Available
Cheapest way to get the little white plastic piece necessary for putting sd/microsd cards into older sony cameras. Most old Sony cams are plug and play with most microsds, just need to go into cameras settings and format drive. Mine worked with 128 gigs! Does slow startup times quite a bit the bigger storage you put in there, so be warned.Ver másVer menos
