Not worth my time or money
I bought the same headset a couple years ago, and the quality was good enough for me to purchase another one. What I just purchased on Amazon is the same brand and version I bought a few years ago,but the quality is grossly diminished. The dongle is not a small tab that attaches and connects the PlayStation to the headset, it’s an unsightly long cord that just ruins the whole aesthetic of my PlayStation 5 and entertainment center. The quality of the headset itself is not as plush and comfortable as the previous one I bought a couple years ago. After an hour I have to switch to my TV speakers because the earcups start to make my head sore. Razer seems to scale back the older models to make the newer models look far more superior, even though I paid the same price. The black shark is grossly inferior in comparison to the the quality of the same modelthat I had became accustomed to. Razer is no longer a brand I can trust and will not be purchasing or referring their brand to others.

Okay build, bad functionality
Has an insane feature where it fades in sound if sound hasn't played in a little while. This has the effect of essentially muting all notifications and delaying audio cues in quiet games.

Good sound Quality, TERRIBLE mic. Not worth the headache
Trash product. Sound quality but the mic quality is absolutely atrocious. Even one eared mics that used to come with consoles like ps3 xbox360 was better. This is because of the firmware update thats necessary. However when you try to do the firmware update from your pc/laptop it tends to not allow you to click the actual “update” button because of a usb power issue or Razer Synapse running in the background or incorrect connection sequence. Overall just a headache for all of this to be the default on a set of headphones. Never had an issue with turtle beaches, will be sending these back & getting another pair of turtle beaches. 100% my first & last time buying any Razer products.Ver másVer menos
