Turned me into a clicky lover
There's something kind of nostalgic about clicky switches, but over time, I've come to associate them with cheap gaming keyboards. They also sound, to my ears, like rattling stabilizers which makes me insane.But I was recently introduced to the new school of clicky switches and I'll be darned if these are actually not bad. In fact, these are... dare I say... excellent???!Wuque Studios also makes a Big Lucky linear that I tried probably a year ago and also fell in love with. I loved them so much that I saved them for the perfect board, and then blew right past loving linear switches and moved into a tactile switch obsession, so they're currently sitting in my collection, unused. Do I think that these clickies are going to be my new go-to? No. There's just no world in which these could get regular daily use because I work around other people and it would probably make them insane. But have these clickies found their way into my heart? Unequivocally yes.The click sound is soft and consistent. Unlike blue switches, where the sound is harsh, loud and obnoxious, these click bar switches give you a soft, snappy bit of auditory and tactile feedback. There's no big bump here, but there's a snappy resistance that makes these really enjoyable to type on, as someone who unapologetically loves tactile switches. As your fingers press the switch, there's a little bit of linear pre-travel where the resistance builds, and then a satisfying snap as you move past the click bar. This is the fidget of my dreams, but in full keyboard form.I expected these to be very pingy, but they're really not. Even held right up to my ear, almost the entirety of what registers is the sound of the click bar with just a tiny bit of resonance on the upstroke.I was a bit concerned for the round stem design, as I was when I first tried the linear Big Luckies, but that concern was unfounded. They fit all of my MX keycaps just fine without feeling like they're going to stretch anything out.I currently have these installed in a very foamy, dampened board and the bottom-out is deep and pronounced. There are simply no mushy sounds from this switch, period. In a clackier build, I actually prefer these switches less, which surprised me. They lose a bit of their character and get drowned out when all of the sounds are higher pitched. Instead, the contrast that a foamy, dampened board creates with the higher pitch of the click bar and the deeper, crisp bottom-out strikes the right chord. It's a great way of reinvigorating my budget, "creamy," plastic boards I'd since relegated to my display shelves. For now, I've kept all keys but the alphas as linear switches, and I think this has kept everything feeling balanced, lively and fun without being overwhelmingly clicky or auditorily overwhelming.If you're even kind of curious about how much fun a clicky switch could be, but are scared that you'll hate the sound, these are such a safe bet. I've fallen for them so hard that I immediately purchased 2 more boxes because I'm terrified that these will no longer be made and I won't be able to get my hands on them anymore. Why aren't more switches made like this?
The tactiles are incredible. Consistent lube throughout, no stem wobble or fitment issues with differing keycaps, and super stable housings that fit perfectly into any plate. They've got a nice scratch to them and are incredible smooth to type on, with a perfect spring weight imo. Honestly Wuques best switch thus far, genuinely impressed.*Update*I'm gonna go ahead and say if you're looking for a great switch you can get on amazon then this is it. I'm hooked and sold. Been using these for a few month now on a SK71 Pro and I can't stop coming back. Since the bump is right at the top and fairly short it won't be as aggressive as some may like it but I think that helps it strike a nice balance between tactility and a linear feel. Just a very well rounded experience for most. The sound also has a nice medium between a bright bottom out with a lower volume so they are comfortable sound wise. Decent Linear
A very stable and very smooth switch. The stock springs are fairly noisy though, spring swapping or lubing is recommended. The upstroke is also somewhat resonant on larger keys, and a very minor ticking on some keys when pushed off-center. Generally pretty good compared to most linears in regard to stability and overall consistency.Ver másVer menos

A soft tactile swtich, perfeclty lubed
This tactile switch (blue) is very soft, it almost feels like a linear. There is a very smooth tactile bump at the very top so once you press it down you're already in the linear part of the downward stroke. I can't say these are the most tactile switch but it is a very good switch regardless. This switch from WS is great, it is a very stable switch and the lubing on it is absolutely perfectly done. The unique design of the stem supposedly helps with stability but It feels just about as stable as my other box switches from WS or kailh. As for the sound, it's a bit poppy and if paired incorrectly I can see it being a bit clacky, that being said though it's not a bad sound, they sound pretty great! On a polycarbonate plate it has a nice little poppy sound that's quite enjoyable and again since the lubing is done so evenly and well I didn't notice any scratchiness or inconsistencies. WS is a mid range switch brand price wise but their quality always delivers more than what you would expect and these are no exception. I'm very happy with the price of these, I have more expensive switches that have now impressed me like these have. Overall these are a 10/10, Wuque studio continues to undersell and always over deliver!Ver másVer menos

A solid tactile
This review is for the blue tactile BigLucky switch. These have an interesting feel. The tactile bump is at the very top of the key stroke, and then there's a bunch of post-travel. It gives a nice "poppy" feeling to typing. I think they sound really nice in my board with a PP plate and cherry profile double-shot PBT keycaps. The switches have good stability without much wobble in normal use (by that I mean not going out of my way to grab a key and shake it to check for wobble).The factory lubing is good, but a bit inconsistent. None of them are under-lubed, but a few I can feel have more lube than others. That being said, I didn't notice the inconsistency until I was specifically checking for it.If I'm loosely ranking this switch, I'd put it in the mid-tier, where it does enough better over cheap switches but isn't completely dialed in like a premium switch. Pricing at the time of writing matches that assessment, and I think this is a good value. To my eye they are cool looking switches, with two shades of blue, 12-sided stem, and RGB window.Ver másVer menos

NO WOBBLE.
NO WOBBLE!! Nice and poppy and a mix of thock and clack. Easy to put in and out. Tactile bump isn't really a bump but a mild hill you have to go over; its very early in the press. Absolutely fantastic.
