Latch on TIGHT and feel better with time
I wear out the original stick pads on my PS5 controllers playing the NHL series (I know, don’t @ me), so I needed a replacement. I was hesitant to get a third party cap because I remember trying stick “extenders” on PS4 for FPS games and they always pop off. Not these! They go on tight, they DO NOT spin loosely at all, which is another thing I was afraid of.At first I thought the ridges were too harsh on my thumbs but after breaking them in a bit I don’t know if my thumbs toughen up or the plastic becomes smoother or a little of both, but they feel great.Been using them for a few months now and they are holding up perfectly.Good value for the money here, would recommendVer másVer menos

Feels even better than Play Station's Typical Caps
These were the perfect fix for my torn joysticks caps. They fit so well and feel so natural in my thumbs that i'm half tempted to replace the other intact joystick caps.

Good feel, goes on with mild difficulty for someone used to this sort of thing.
These are a good replacement for the original pads on a DS5 gamepad. They have a textured, rubbery rim and a smooth, more slippery middle. It almost feels like a multi-material thing. The rim is grippy but not tacky or oily. It feels like it might be the kind of material that holds up without getting sticky and breaking down, but time will tell. Even if they only last half as long as the originals, the 6-pack I bought gives me 6 years of thumbstick pad replacements for less than an average fast food sandwich. They're not an identical feel to the originals, but the original pads were made of a rubber that got sticky and started to degrade after just a few years of occasional use. These are MUCH better than that material after it started to get sticky, and they are much cheaper than a new gamepad. The only alternative is to get replacement OEM joystick caps, but that requires a nearly full disassembly of the gamepad; Which is a 27-step process involving multiple PCBs, thin flex ribbon connectors, springs, and sets of screws.Replacing the rubber pads was a much easier process than taking the gamepad apart to remove the joystick caps. I got them on in under two minutes.I can see how some people may have had trouble getting them on. I've worked through similar difficult fits of rubbery material before. There's a trick to knowing where to pinch, squeeze or push that causes the outer "pocket ring" to roll around the larger circular edge of the joypad. If you have a set of O-Ring picks, those can help roll the outer rubber ring around the plastic joystick cap.YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE ORIGINAL RUBBER PADS. It doesn't look like they come off, but they do. If they are worn out, just force it with pliers or slice the pads with a hobby knife. I think some people had trouble because they tried to put these on top of the original rubber pads, and I think some others had trouble because they have a different model of PS5 gamepad. Check the list of compatible models. Mine is the regular DualSense 5 (not Edge), Sony brand, not third party, and they went on fine.I tried just using the gamepad with plain bare plastic, no rubber on the pads, and it was 90% fine. I'm glad I finally tried installing these, now it's 100%.Ver másVer menos

Easy to install; great dexterity
Used these as replacements for my worn out joystick tops. Installed within seconds and love the grip and control they give to the controller.

NOT a 10 pack as shown, only comes with 6 (3pair)!
Only a 6 pack, not the 10 as shown in the photo. I will say that these are PERFECT for when the rubber on you PS5 sticks has busted or been pulled off. Fit and don’t move. Buddy said they’re a bit rough, but he has soft hands so they’re fine if you’ve got calluses like I do. Main complaint is that they represented as a 5 pair pack and only came as 3 pair. Definitely recommend instead of replacing the sticks once the rubber grip breaks, gets pulled off, etc- can only be used on the bare plastic stick.Ver másVer menos
