Highly recommend this battery
I installed this battery in an EZGO golf cart that previously had 6 6 volt batteries. This 36 volt lithium battery is great! It actually has 38 volts. I had to cut out the rear brackets and weld in a new angle iron frame to sit side ways under the rear portion of the seat. I moved the resister box to the front left and mounted the new charger to the front right. It all worked out great. Not too much work and nearly 200 pounds less weight! My wife says I need a governor now. This machine will scoot now! I’ve driven it about 30 miles on Florida back roads and it still has 32% left on the initial charge. I am very happy with this battery. I am also thrilled about the Bluetooth app on my phone. I can see exactly how much charge I have left at any time and bunches more information I don’t understand… or need. I give 5 stars even though I’m not happy with the battery monitor. I was about to mount it to the dash board until I read it was not water proof or water resistant. I could not imagine it being that way so I emailed to ask the question. I asked if it could be mounted on the dashboard and be ok for water to splash on it when washing the cart. The reply I got was simply “monitor is not waterproof.” So… I stuck it in a box to never be used. After I loaded the Bluetooth app, I don’t need it anyway. As a separate purchase, I ordered and installed a little converter so I could run my 12 volt lights. I recommend this as well.So, I highly recommend this battery. I am very happy I purchased it instead of 6 heavy lead acid batteries. It is well worth the fabrication required to make it fit.Ver másVer menos
