Clearer skin
I break out a lot during the summer and I heard azelaic acid can help so I got this because it has azelaic acid along with other helpful ingredients. I’ve been using it for a few days and already see a difference in my skin. I feel like it definitely looks clearer and less red. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t have an overpowering fragrance, and doesn’t burn my skin.Ver másVer menos

Es denso empegota la cara hay q usarlo con el rostro limpio y después quitarlo tiene buenas propiedades para quitar las manchas me gustan mucho la primera vez q lo use me arde y me dejó el rostro rojo pero se quitó hay q usarlo seguido para q haga efecto

Burns and itches my rosacea
I haven’t tried azelaic acid before but heard that it’s good for rosacea. I have sensitive skin and rosacea and this is supposed to help.The bottle is glass and has a glass dropper, makes it easy to get a few drops onto my hand and then apply to my face.The ingredients seem fine, it’s 10% azelaic acid and vegan.Applying to my face, it smells nice but burns my face! Then it feels really itchy. The discomfort subsides after a few minutes and the next day (I applied after my nightly shower prior to sleep) and all of my breakouts were gone! I was surprised and hopeful that this helps with any inflammation in my skin from the rosacea.The formulation is very lightweight, not sticky and feels a bit like applying oil to the face. It didn’t break me out and actually helped my breakouts. So far it does seem effective. I will keep on using and will update if anything changes.For the small bottle, $9.99, it’s a reasonable price as I only needed to use a few drops to cover my face. I have worked as a professional makeup artist and skincare specialist for years, so I am definitely someone who turns the bottle around and reads the ingredient list before putting something on my face. This one caught my attention because you are getting 10% azelaic acid along with tranexamic acid, salicylic acid and hydrating ingredients in a $9.99 serum.The texture is really nice. It is lightweight, spreads easily and absorbs without leaving that heavy or greasy feeling that can make layering skincare annoying. It also sits nicely under moisturizer and makeup, which is important to me because I am not going to keep using a serum that makes everything I put on top of it pill.I also really appreciate that it is fragrance free. I tend to prefer skincare without unnecessary fragrance, especially when a formula already has several active ingredients in it.Azelaic acid is an ingredient I like having in my skincare routine when I am trying to keep my complexion looking more even and calm, and I like that this formula combines it with ingredients aimed at texture and the appearance of discoloration without feeling overly complicated.I have not used it long enough to make grand claims about long term results, but so far my skin is happy with it and I really like the way it feels and layers. My mature, dry skin felt smooth and had a glow after using this serum!
This azelaic acid face serum felt smooth and moisturizing on my skin. The viscosity is like a thick cream. I used about three or four drops the first time I applied this. It absorbed into my skin a little slower than some other serums. After about a minute wait, I added my usual moisturizer on top of this serum. That worked well for me. My skin had a bit of a glow all day long. There was no fragrance and it did not cause any irritation to my mature, dry skin.Because this serum took a bit longer to absorb into my skin, I’m going to use a bit less of it and see if that makes a difference. I really liked how my skin felt and looked after using this and I am looking forward to figuring out the amount and deciding if I want to use this serum in the morning or just at night.This serum is a good value for the amount you receive, especially because only a couple of drops are needed for each application.Ver másVer menos

The smell is slightly strange.It is a very smooth, almost gel-like type of consistency.I've never used azelaic acid before.I would probably need to go through at least half or a whole bottle of this to really know if it's working.My face has started getting red areas (around my chin & nose), so I am interested to see if that helps the redness in those areas.We'll see.But yeah, the smell was a little off-putting.Again, I don't know if that is normally how azelaic acid smells because I've never used it.But it made me a little hesistant to put it on my face lol.Ver másVer menos
