Works Great as a Nintendo Switch 2 Replacement Dock
I've been using this replacement dock with my Nintendo Switch 2, and it works exactly as expected. Setup was simple, and it connected to my TV without any issues. The video output is clear, and the console fits securely in the dock.I also like that it's more compact than the original, making it easy to move between rooms or take on trips. If you're looking for a reliable replacement or an extra dock for your gaming setup, this is a great option. I'm very happy with it so far.Ver másVer menos

Perfect Travel Dock for Nintendo Switch 2 – Lightweight, Easy Setup, and Works Great!
This portable Nintendo Switch 2 dock exceeded my expectations! Shipping was incredibly fast, and setup was super easy, literally plug and play. I had everything connected and running within minutes. The biggest reason I love this dock is how portable and lightweight it is compared to the official dock. I travel a lot, and now I no longer need to pack the bulky original dock with me. This takes up almost no space in my bag and works perfectly for gaming on hotel TVs or while visiting friends. The build quality feels solid, the Switch 2 fits securely, and I really like the one-touch TV/Tabletop mode switching. Video output looks great, and charging while playing works flawlessly. If you want a compact travel friendly replacement dock for the Nintendo Switch 2, this is an easy recommendation. Definitely worth it!Ver másVer menos

not great, unstable and the intake vents are blocked
this dock is supposed to be a replacement, but I ran into quite a few issues big and small.pros:1. fits even with the screen protector on2. cheaper than the official dock3. smaller and more portable than the official dock4. has ethernet (a lot of third party ones don't)5. extra USB portsdesign issues:1. they blocked the intake vents. Sure it has less blockage in front and back of the switch, however, blocking the intake vents also means it's going to stress the fans in the switch (much like you're not supposed to use too high of a rating for the AC/furnace filters)2. they put the switch at an angle, and I can see how the USB port can be stressed3. it's hard to pull out of the dock, somehow it's easy to push it in but it's hard to come out4. it's not that stable. If you knock it over it will likely stress the USB C port.5. seems like by default it's being used as a stand. It's annoying because every time I use it on the tv, I have to press the button in the back.cons and actual problems:1. the ethernet light is constantly on... even with nothing plugged in. I don't know why, but this sounds like a design issue, makes you feel that there might be other potential you don't know2. the HDMI won't turn on. I had to push the button 5 times before it finally displayed the picture.3. waking up the switch using the joycons is now a bit more spotty (maybe combined with the problem in #2)4. When it actually successfully display image on the TV, it takes observable more time than the official dock.5. comes with no cables, no chargers, nothing at all, just the dock6. I have trouble making it work via an 2 in 1 out HDMI switch. I got this to plug it into the montior for my computer thinknig I can switch between the two, well, that doesn't seem to work....7. there is some subtle difference for the color between this dock and official dock on my tv somehow. you have to really pay attention to see it so it's more annoying than actual issue.Ver másVer menos

Good dock, but hard to pull the Switch 2 out of it.
I needed a switch dock that wasn't the Nintendo-branded one. I have limited desk space, so a small form dock was paramount. In this regard, it's perfect. It's light and small, looks neat, and fits the Switch Aesthetic. It was also important that it worked my capture card (elgato 4k x) so that I could play on my monitor, stream to my friend, and have it on the desk all at the same time. In this regard, it also worked perfectly. Dock connects to the card, monitor and displays the Switch 2 just fine.Where I'm having some issues is taking the Switch 2 out of the dock. For some this will likely be fine--you don't want something flimsy your Switch can fall out of. For me, it's a pain. I want to be able to quickly grab the switch if I need to go or even just want to put it in my TV's dock. I have to physically grab the dock and use some force to lift the switch straight out. It's possibly because the design wants the Switch leaning backwards, thus the connected also leaning backwards, which requires a different angle of removal from the dock.Likely a very small issue for some, but for me it's incredibly annoying. So I don't think it's really a problem of the dock, but rather a use-case issue for me. I just wanted to point it out in case someone else might find it annoying, and I'll update this review if I get any better at dislodging my switch from its new vacation home. For about a quarter of the official dock bundle, this thing is a good price point. Just note it does not come with its own power connector, but even then it would be less than half the price of the official dock set.Ver másVer menos

Compact, practical, and gets the job done.
I liked it because it works well for connecting the console to the TV while keeping it charged at the same time. It is compact, easy to use, and doesn't take up much space. A good option for those looking for a practical dock without spending too much.
