9/30- Just got it today, and right now, I think it smells horrible. It smells like Vicks VapoRub. The Bottle is pretty, and I'm hoping that allowing it to macerate will allow the ingredients to blend better. I had the same issue with Vanilla Voyage. I'll return after about a month with an update.10/15 - After about two weeks maceration, the vapor rub has toned down significantly. The amber is more present. I’ve raised my review from 2 stars to 3. I’ll return in another two weeks with my last update. I definitely recommend allowing this fragrance to macerate upon receiving.10/28 - Last update, I’ve actually been wearing this fragrance for about a week now. I can say that I am a fan. The alcohol is still pretty strong upon first spray, but tones down pretty quickly to a spicy sweet bourbon vanilla. The dry down is my favorite. The booziness tones down, but the sweet spicy notes remain though a bit lighter. The longevity on clothes is days, and on skin I get 12+ hrs. I would say that the intensity of the fragrance tones down in that time, but lingers on my skin. If I spray before work in the morning and skip my evening shower, I’ll still smell it on myself when I wake the following morning. Definitely more of a fall/winter and possibly early spring scent. A grown and sexy sophisticated vanilla. Maceration is the key here. I’ve raised my last rating of 3 stars to 5. I would definitely repurchase.Ver másVer menos
