set up easy, pair camera to phone app
camera quality good. set up easy. battery life is good. but needs a lot of sun light to keep it fully charged. there is a motion sensor feature so you get notifications when required. budget friendly because it’s a solar camera batteries are optional so cost savings there. you need to have good wifi coverage around the house. overall good connections too. i highly recommend.Ver másVer menos

This is an excellent product once initial charge is done.
After overcoming a little difficulty with the pairing process persistence prevailed and I was able to pair and activate the cameras. They should be installed in a way that allows easy access because the cameras may sometimes require a manual recharge from an AC adapter and the AC charging was requires for each camera before placement in a solar receptive area. Once that was done there has been no problem.Ver másVer menos

Awesome! but check your sun exposure
for the price, this is pretty good.you're battery life is going to vary depending on how much sun exposure your getting, I've had my up for 4 days and the batteries are all about half drained so I'm thinking of giving each one a external solar panel because I have a lot of overcast where they are set up. But the cameras have usb charging and I found 5wat usb-c solar panels for 12$ each so I think that will allow them to run indefinitely.video quality is great, the motion and human detection allows you to save a ton on storage and easily search through footagesetup was easy, no cables, just turn the cameras on and pair the server to the app. The signal is stronger then i expected, it's even going through a brick wall.Ver másVer menos

Good picture and night vision. Camera lags and turns off even with continual movement.
I do like these outdoor cameras. They have a good quality picture and clear night vision and built in solar panels for continuous charged battery life, which is one of the main reasons I chose these cameras over others. I gave three stars because the camera lags in recording so if something happens under 5-6 seconds the camera will not pick it up. (They won't be picking up any fast-flying UFOs. LOL!) And the recording turns off after about 10-15 seconds even with continued movement. Sometimes recording will start again as a different recording, but only sometimes. An example: I was on my patio the other morning with my dogs so there was continuous movement. The camera picked up 2 short videos of this. All off a sudden a huge hawk swooped down and past only feet from my head. I went to see this on my camera only to find that the recording had already stopped before this happened and because the hawk was only within camera view for less than 5-6 seconds, the camera didn't restart. How disappointing! There are also times that the camera has captured wolves, fox, or raccoons and because the camera turns off so soon it's never known what they do or where they go. This could be a safety concern as I come home from work VERY late (midnight to 2:00am). If someone or something attacked me during the time after the camera stops recording from my garage to my door it would not be captured. And we would have your typical unsolved mystery! I do like that I can get alerts on my phone when movement is captured, but because recording starts and stops often, I get many movement alerts. I didn't return the cameras because by the time the weather was warm enough to install them the return time had expired.Ver másVer menos
