  Excellent harness and leash set that provides comfort and control

  I picked this up for my dog, and it has worked out great for daily walks, training sessions, and trips around town. The harness feels well designed and provides much better control than a traditional collar while keeping my dog comfortable.One of the first things I noticed was the amount of padding.   Trust the measure guide in the post. It is accurate!

  This no pull harness is the best I have owned for my dogs. They are both Beagles, one 12yr old, chunky build 60lbs. The other 2 yr old and fit and active. I was not sure of size as in the past the older one wore large and the younger wore medium. Never measured them just assumed. I used the measurements as provided in the ad instructions and both showed to wear medium. I was skeptical, so purchased both in Medium and got a lg just in case. I opened the medium and tried it on my chunker first, I was pleasantly surprised the medium was a perfect fit. Now I worried my fit dog would need a smaller size. Nope the medium was excellent fit for his as well. Sending the large back new in Box.I love the durability and ease of this harness it feels like it will last. I pre adjusted the straps so now as easy as sliding over the head and only one strap to buckle under the body. The adjustment was easy fast easy and secure.I was not planning to use the free leash that came with each, but I was super surprised those are heavy duty and have a great hand grip, so plan to give them a go.My older dog we got him when we lived in an apartment so he was used to leash and loved his walks. While both are indoor, they have a nice big back yard and have not walked them much. The young one has only been leashed to get in car and go to vet visits. So hoping he takes well to walking, his last harness on the one walk he Hudini’d his way out of and I got to chase him and carry him home.My husband had to take the older one out immediately for a walk as he knew what wearing his harness meant and was super happy running to the front door to get a walk. No issues and the mobility for both dog and hubby was great. So far I give a 5 for fit, comfort, ease, and durability. This is a great harness and I totally appreciate the price compared to many that were similar but returned and lower rated. I see why this one is kept! Ohh and super fast ship!Ver másVer menos

  The harness is perfect for my service dog. Great value for the price.

  I don't write many reviews, but when I do it's because, I really love what I ordered or really dislike what I received. As you can see by the 5 star rating I gave this dog harness, I really love it as does my dog. I have another vest for my service dog that is a really big vest and covers way too much of my dog, plus it's hot and uncomfortable. My dog was always shaking her entire body trying to get comfortable in the old one. This one leaves a lot of breathing room and is comfortable for her to wear. No more trying to shake it off. I ordered the LARGE size for my 85 pound Bernedoodle. Her chest measures 31 inches. It took a few small adjustments to make the correct comfortable fit for her. She is very comfortable in it. It fits well and there is no way she could remove it on her own. This is a perfect solution for a service dog harness instead of the huge vests. It's made of very sturdy material and is super easy to put on and remove. Once it was fitted to my dog, I only need to use one buckle to put it on or off. No more fooling around with 4 buckles and a dog who hates their harness. This is a 100% winner in my book! The only thing I don't like is, the goofy "Best Friend" patch that can be placed on each side. I have some 1 inch by 3 inch service dog patches that fit those 2 places just fine. There are the loop part of the hook and loop patches sewn into each side. They are plenty big enough for your favorite patch with the hook side on it's back side, to be displayed perfectly. It would be nice if they sent a set of useful service dog patches instead of the "best friend" ones that come with it. I like this one so much I ordered another for my other dog.Ver másVer menos

  Overall a good buy.

  This harnes fit my medium size dog perfectly, as I was able to easily adjust it.He behaves the same with it on, Terrible!! I do have a bit more control though,a little less pulling. He seems very comfortable to me. I should have purchased a darker colour though,taking into consideration the behavior of my dog. Its holding up well so far, I take him for a walk every day,and no,fraying of material of breaking of buckles. Good strong leash,comfortable hand padding.   What a Great Product!!

  My dog and I loved it! This harness is made with very good quality materials, and the design is perfect because it does not hurt him. It also looks really good on him.The front part has a protective piece so it does not rub against his neck, and it can be adjusted to different sizes. The strap that goes underneath is also very easy to adjust. It has double buckles, one on each side, which makes it very easy to put on and take off.I also really liked the buckles because they feel strong and good quality. I had another harness before, and it did not last long, but the material and the support on this one feel very sturdy. I can lift my dog using the top handle without choking him, which is not easy with a pug, but he has no problem with this harness.It also has two rings where you can attach the leash, and the leash that comes with the harness is great too. It is very nice and thick, but the best part is that it is not a regular leash. It is a thick elastic leash, so if your dog suddenly starts running, the harness will not hurt them because the leash works like a shock absorber and helps reduce the pull.You can also put the leash around your wrist comfortably because it has a padded foam handle, so it does not rub or hurt your hand. The harness also has two spaces where you can attach Velcro patches.Excellent product. I am very happy with it! 🐾Ver másVer menos

  This harness did the impossible!

  I have a dog (rescue / abandoned stray) that hated wearing a collar, hated the idea of a leash, hated all harnesses I've ever tried. Any time we attached a leash to his collar, he'd go into what I call the "gator roll" - spinning, thrashing, trying to bite the leash, etc. Slip lead? Same thing. Harnesses that go under the armpits? Same thing. Going to a trainer? Same thing. I have tried pretty much everything under the sun - he's not a puller, that's never been the issue - he just does not want to be attached to a leash - at all. He would literally go into panic mode, freak out and shut down.He's such a great dog, he is so loving and wonderful in the house that all I really want for him is to take him with me when I go places, but that's not easy to do if the dog flips out every time you attach a leash - if I lived on a farm that would be one thing, but I live where there are leash laws. so I'd basically given up.I came across this harness and decided to give it a shot. When I first put it on him, he went into his typical "I hate this, I can't move, why did you do this to me?" attitude. I had him wear it for a couple hours, gave him a lot of treats, and he figured out he could actually walk with it on.Finally I felt brave enough to take him outside while wearing it - I took along our other dog who walks well on a leash, and for the first time since we've had him, he actually went for a walk where it wasn't a struggle! No spinning, no grabbing the leash, no freaking out.The harness itself seems very well made, it's easy to adjust. I like that the padding across the front is held on with Velcro, so it's easy to take that off and adjust, then re-position it where needed. The strap that goes under the dog is also easy to adjust and can easily be fit to go either around the rib cage or just behind. It doesn't dig into my dogs armpits like other harnesses. It's easy to put on once it's adjusted, it's not a struggle to get it over his head, and then i only have to clip one buckle.If I had one gripe, it would be that the side D ring is on the left side of the harness - it's normal to teach a dog to heel on the person's left, so it would have made more sense if the D ring was on the right so a leash could be attached at that point to make it easier to keep tension on it properly instead of suggesting the D ring be a point for attaching accessories.The leash also seems nice, although not as nice as the harness. It's a thick paracord, but where the ends meet, it's secured by plastic pieces that I don't think I would trust with a dog who pulls. I will probably remove the plastic and replace it with a better paracord wrap. (550)
