Nice Mount
Pretty neat contraption. Seems to work perfectly. Better instructions would be great as it is not clear how to run the cable through to connect to the satellite

Great Versatile Non-Permanent Antenna Mount
This is a great non-permanent way to add an antenna/Starlink mount on your roof (or any flat or angled surface for that matter such as campers, camping, events, ect). It's a really simple setup. If you're placing it or on the ground, you can replace the included short verticle pole with any of the same diameter as it uses three set screws to hold it in the base. These set screws, along with the paver/tile pockets folding in half, make it easy to disassemble for transportation or storage. The flat pockets (when weighted with pavers/tiles) help hold it down and keep it from tipping/ blowing in the wind. The whole thing seems painted/powder coated very well.Since I was carrying things up a ladder to get them in place, I chose to start with cheap 1ftx1ft (30.48cm x 30.48cm) cement pavers/tiles. The ones in the picture were in stock locally at $4 (US dollar) a piece. Each one weighing around 10lbs (4.5Kg) to 12lbs (5.45Kg). After I'm sure the position works well, I will purchase four 9"x16"x1.25" (22.86cm x 40.64cm x 3.18cm) in colored pavers to better match my roof. Buying half size pavers/tiles will also make it easier to carry up the ladder. The paver/tile pocket dimensions measure 18"x16.5"x1.25" You can use taller than 1.25" (3.18cm) pavers/tiles if you want (that is just the actual height of the pocket lip) for full size pavers/tiles. Just keep in mind that full size pavers/tiles can be very heavy to carry up a ladder and walk across an angled roof with.My use case here is actually for Meshtastic. I kept going back and forth between mounting a bracket on my eave or erecting a ground pole taller than my roof line (which never looks that great in my opinion). Using the Starlink mount adapter is optional as it's only mounted with two bolts onto the top of the vertical pole. This provides great flexibility for the HAMs out there. As you can see in the photo, I just used a worm clamp to mount a Meshtastic SEEED Solar Node P1 Pro directly and it's working just fine.*However, it has only been up for a week and there have been no major thunderstorms in my area yet. I'll try to remember to provide an update after the next thunderstorm or high wind event in my area of North Texas.Ver másVer menos

A cost-effective high quality mount for a Starlink V3 antenna
I found the mount to be well made, sturdy, and easily assembled; the holes all lined up accurately, and I had no need to bend anything into alignment. I noticed some reviewers reported their antenna blowing off the roof. The ones I saw didn't specify how much weight they were using nor the characteristics (pitch, material) of the roof, but I didn't want to take a chance with my installation, so I made two changes that should increase its wind resistance. First, I note that the bare metal of the ballast trays does not have a very high coefficient of friction with asphalt shingles, so to make them grippier I bought some 1/8" adhesive neoprene sheets, cut them into strips, and applied them to the underside. Second, I found that standing the bricks on edge instead of laying them flat increased the number that would fit from 8 per side (40 pounds) to 14 per side (70 pounds). With those changes I'm confident that the antenna won't be moved by any wind short of a tornado. All in all, I think this is a very acceptable and cost-effective alternative to the ridgeline mount in the Starlink shop.Ver másVer menos

Will get the job done
The trey that hold the paver/bricks is cheap, but it will definitely do the job. The instructions were not clear that you must remove your dishes kickstand to install their piece, they were also not clear that the wire has to be ran up through the tubing. At first it would look as if the wire doesn’t have any place to go, but it runs up through the tubing.Ver másVer menos

Super easy install. Even I did it.
Easy perfect pitch set up. Good sturdy construction. The price was very reasonable. The adjustable fit on the pitch of my roof was great. All you need to get it two 16 inch stepping stones for weight. Even with the windy NC thunder storms, it never moved. And I didn't have to drill any holes in my roof. This would be great for renters. Absolutely thrilled with my purchase of this StarLink antenna stand.Ver másVer menos

Easy to assemble and use
This is exactly what we needed, as we rent and didn’t want to damage the roof or any structure to our rental but we needed better internet- Starlink being the only option. We have the standard satellite dish, and this works perfect with it. We put bricks on the side to hold through wind. So far, so good. It’s held up well, and seems stable. Instructions were incredibly clear, and it looks good on top of our roof.Ver másVer menos
