  Works great, go slow, keep it wet.

  These worked great. Keep the ceramic you’re drilling into wet to prevent heat from building up. Start at an angle. Once you get it going rock back and forth. Don’t apply to much pressure. It’s slow, but it does work. I didn’t break anything. I drilled multiple holes in many planters. Even one in a large coffee cup that I’m using as a planter.Ver másVer menos

  Great value for the money. Soild steel diamond bits - sharp enough to make a hole maybe 1/4 inches in diameter. Didn’t take a before photo but as shown in the photo the pitcher is quite thick. Took my time, ran a slow stream of water and slowly angled the drill with constant pressure didn’t shatter and I’m very happy with the results.Ver másVer menos

  Works OK

  Not easy to drill through moderately thin ceramic. Following the instruction to begin at 45 degree angle is important. They seem of decent quality and get the job done; perseverance is key.

  It works on hard porcelain!

  I used this to drill holes in the bottom of porcelain or maybe they were stoneware mugs in order to use them for flower pots. At first it was an arduous task. I checked out some YouTube videos first on “how to” and learned the correct method positioning the tool at 45 degree angle at first to get the hole started then gradually turn the drill perpendicular to the mug to get a nice round hole. You have to let the drill do the work without a lot of pressure. And I used water on the bottom of the mug for lubricant. The first one took 30 minutes but with practice I got it down to about 8 minutes a hole. I had 11 to do. The bits themselves worked great! They didn’t get dull at all and did the job efficiently.Ver másVer menos
