For $450, it's definitely worth buying.
I've been using the WiiM Amp Ultra for a while now, and I'm really impressed with it.It has a lot of built-in streaming service integrations, making it easy to play music without extra devices. I'm using it with my Emotiva T2 floor-standing speakers (200W nominal), and it drives them much better than I expected. The sound is punchy, clean, and dynamic, with plenty of power for my listening. The remote is another nice surprise. It's made from solid aluminum, feels premium (similar to an Apple remote), and it's rechargeable, which is much better than replacing batteries. There are a couple of things you should know before buying:Bluetooth only supports SBC and AAC codecs. There's no aptX or LDAC,There's no AirPlay support, so iPhone users should keep that in mind. One more thing that may matter if you're importing it from another country: the package is quite large and heavy. The shipping weight is around 5 kg (11 lb), even though the amplifier itself weighs about 2.5 kg (5.5 lb).No product is perfect, and every manufacturer has to make compromises. As long as you know these limitations before buying, I think it's an excellent product.I paid $450 for mine, and at that price I honestly don't know of another all-in-one streaming amplifier that offers the same combination of features, build quality, and performance. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.Ver másVer menos
