  2.5 months in and still great protection

  If you wore G-Shock watches before the Apple Watch and want some extra protection for your expensive wrist computer, then this is the case to try. I love my Ultra gen 1, but I am ROUGH with my watches. It's not intentional, I just believe my tech should be tough and keep up with me regardless of my activity. The Ultra has that micro-millimeter raised edge, which I'm sure is great for most people, but I wanted more.I'm ok with my watch looking more aggressive, and this case definitely gives that slight extra rugged/aggressive look and a ton more screen protection from flat smacks against walls, door, etc. It's built really well, very solid feel (metal, obviously) and fits perfectly and is easy to put on. The bottom snaps on once you place the case on the watch, but it is only plastic. I haven't felt like I might accidentally break that bottom plastic snapping it on and off, but just something to remember when handling.If you get your watch wet (like swimming or showering) just keep in mind water stays under the case for a while since there's no air movement there. Thankfully the case is easy enough to take off if you need to dry it all out. I'm sure it'll dry on its own but I like to do a quick dry myself. No need to remove the watch band to do that. I didn't photograph it, but there are two strips of some silicon type material on both ends of the inside of the case, which I presume helps with shocks and preventing scratches on the titanium of the watch itself. They appear very well situated/glued in.I've slammed my watch against quite a bit of stuff with this case on over the past 2.5 months and I can barely see the edge scratches at the top, and only in the light at a specific angle. So good news is so far the scratches you might get on this case don't show easily at all (I own the titanium color and can't speak to the darker color options).I paired this case with a Nomad "Rocky Point Band" watch band (I removed the titanium strap holder loop... it kept scratching my desk). These two together have given me that futuristic, rugged watch feel I've been looking for.Ver másVer menos

  Makes the watch look sturdy and strong. I love this case and it didn’t change how you can charge it. Sensors and charging are not affected by the case.
