  Big upgrade from 2060S, runs cool & quiet, good option for SFF builds. Good value if found at MSRP

  Decided to upgrade my GPU before the upcoming GPUpocalypse everyone says is coming in 2026. This replaced a RTX 2060 Super Founder's Edition, and it's allowed me to bump gaming resolution from 1080p to 1440p while getting better framerates and lower temps/less noise. The 2060S was still a solid card, but it is now six years old and the most recent flagship games were starting to push it. Plus I was interested in bumping my resolution up to 1440p. The 2060S was perfectly fine for 1080p gaming, but not quite powerful enough for a resolution bump. And even at 1080p, temps were pushing low 70s for demanding titles, and the fans at those temps can be quite noisy. I use my build as an HTPC as well, so was interested in minimizing fan noise where possible (this GPU swap was done in combination with a full replacement of case fans/CPU heatsink).For the titles I run like Ninja Gaiden 4, Forza Horizon 5, various emulator-based titles, this has been running great at 1440p with consistently good framerates. Temps typically don't go above low 60s now, and the fans are dual bearing, much higher quality than the older FE card, and as a result a lot quieter. With 16gb of VRAM, this card has the necessary headroom to run at higher resolutions reliably, and that appealed to me as well. This should get me through the next couple of years on my current aging build (still running i7-9700k and DDR4 3200MHz RAM) until PC component prices hopefully stabilize at some more sane price point.This card is great for small form factor builds because of its relatively low power draw (180W), good performance, and smaller dimensions (9" x 4.7" x 2"). Uses a standard 8-pin GPU power connector too, so it should be compatible with most PSUs. Nice option for me. If you are chasing frames and need the best of the best, look for a 5080 / 5070 Ti or something, but for those that are on a constraint of some kind, either budget- or size-related, this is an excellent card that should perform really well with most AAA titles at 1440p / High or Ultra settings for at least a few years. I can definitely recommend this card to folks who want to play titles at high/ultra settings while still being cognizant of price.Ver másVer menos

  If You're On a Budget, I Highly Recommend The Asus Dual 16GB Nvidia RTX 5060TI Overclocked Edition.

  This card for the price was somewhat larger and more sturdy than the original Gigabyte 5060 Nvidia RTX 8GB-vram graphics card that came with the CyberPower budget desktop gaming PC I bought via Walmart that was faulty right out of the used and badly tattered box. The boost clock is faster and the vram is doubled and for the price, I think I got a great deal.Honestly, I had no choice but to upgrade to a slightly better graphics card. The HD Ports, all three, and the only HDMI port were faulty, as the brand new purchased cables fit loosely in each port and the slightest movement caused the video signal to disconnect. I figured the PC was used despite being told it was new and finding out the graphics card and ram were no good after the return window closed pi**ed me off! Hopefully, I'll have some success with my filed Better Business Bureau complaint against that Walmart location.Ver másVer menos

  Great Build Quality, Disappointing Pricing

  This particular model of the RTX 5060 Ti, the ASUS Prime Dual, is very well built. The construction quality feels quite solid, albeit surprisingly light, and temps are excellent—often in the low 60's under full load. Even manually overclocking it barely managed to reach 70 degree. As you might expect, noise levels were also very low under load as the fans didn't need to spin up fast at all.Speaking of overclocking, you're going to want to overclock it yourself if you're purchasing this "OC Edition" for that purpose, as the factory overclock is literally just +30 MHz to the boost clock—which is merely a 1% increase. This factory overclock translates to, in the best scenarios, about a 1 FPS increase on average... That said, if you do overclock it yourself, you can squeeze upwards of 10% more performance out of this card fairly easily! However, you don't need to buy an "OC Edition" of this card to do that.It also features a dual bios switch, though I've found the difference between the performance and quiet profiles to be minimal. Might be useful for power users that experiment with modding bios and want a backup.It's perhaps worth mentioning that this GPU has a 128-bit Memory Bus, which is pretty narrow for this day and age. Thankfully, unlike the RTX 4060 Ti it replaces, this card features GDDR7 which is quite fast and results in a final Bandwidth of 448 GB/s, which helps it keep up with 1440p or even 4K output. This is further supported by the16GB VRAM on this model—as opposed to the cheaper 8GB model that should probably be avoided. I'd say this card is primarily for 1080p users, but if you're willing to use DLSS, this card can do fine enough at higher resolutions.My only real gripe is with the pricing of this card. It MSRP'd at $430 which already felt a little high for a 128-bit GPU, but it's since creeped well beyond $500 thanks to the influence of AI data-centers eating up every last source of memory chips. If you can get this card for at or below it's MSRP, I'd absolutely recommend it. However, if it remains well above MSRP, I might consider waiting for the market landscape to change.Ver másVer menos

  Great GPU, but what you must know before buying.

  A upgrade from a 4060 to this 5060 TI is great still works well for the games that my old GPU used to struggle on well fairly simple to install, but some tips to look at before buying is1. do you have the right power or enough? i would recommend 650W - 750W for some head room for the PSU.2 . Will it fit? the worst thing to happen is spending $630 on something that wont even fit in your PC, and if your wondering the GPU is roughly 2 Xbox controllers long or 9 inches longPros and consPros -came in great condition, runs Cyberpunk at 98 - 110 FPS at medium to high, Modded Minecraft at 120 - 150FPS, Fortnite 240FPS, Roblox 240FPS , ARK both games at 90 to 120 FPS. Very quiet even at high loads.Cons -The installation might be confusing to a beginner, and at first the drivers for the GPU were a little Bad at first but after using DDU and reinstalling the drivers they were fixed, but overall the GPU is worth it.Ver másVer menos

Installation was a breeze, and it's running incredibly smooth, quiet, and perfectly as expected. Having that 16GB of VRAM at this tier is a massive win.   Love it

  I feel like a well programmed game could run on this without any issues. I use this on rust pc with every setting cranked. Thats a testament because it has about a gig left free and the still experiences issues after 6 hours of playing. But rust is a demanding game because it is buggy. You can tell its not card but the game. On a tunned rust it has 80+ FPS with no issues at all. My biggest issue was with several outputs connected. Windows would have a hard time running it and everything behaving the way I wanted. It works the works well and runs flight simulator X good. Again the card is great.
