  Nautica Does It Again! Sweet, Spicy, and Affordable.

  Over the past year, I’ve taken up the hobby of collecting men’s fragrances. I’m in my mid-40’s, and the last time I had any interest in this subject was back in the early 90’s.As my collection continues to grow, I’m genuinely impressed with how far some designers have come. Until recently, my only experience with Nautica was the original (now called “Classic”) EDT, which had a fresh, detergent-type scent. Nautica Voyage was one of the first new additions to my collection and, for the price (under $20), it’s a fantastic, aquatic scent. It impressed me enough to pick up this Red gift set as a blind buy - also under $20.If you’re a fan of modern “red” fragrances like Polo Red or Versace Eros Flame - sweet with a little spice - this is probably right up your alley.Now, to be fair, it’s not as complex as either of those, and it’s definitely more synthetic; but that’s exactly what I would expect from a budget EDT. And while it won’t be mistaken for either of the other ones, it fits nicely in the family. The notes don’t mention anything particularly sweet or fruity, but it’s definitely in there. Not as sweet as Polo Red, but in that style. Nautica describes it as a fougère, but I don’t agree. I’ll just add that the price is definitely a factor in my overall rating.The projection isn’t overly strong, which makes it perfect for the office or gym. It doesn’t last particularly long (3-4 hours is my average), but pair it up with the body spray for a little more kick. And frankly, at this price, just reapply it throughout the day.Probably best for Winter or Fall, this is a great addition to your collection or a nice gift for someone just starting to collect. Nice to see these legacy brands trying something new. Highly recommended!Ver másVer menos

  Great Scent, Great Product!!

  This came in a nice box, packaged very securely. The smell is amazing, kinda of like a spicy scent. Nautica is and always has been an exceptional product. The cologne is in a glass bottle with a great spray pattern. Strong scent that last for hours!! Would highly recommend this product to anyone trying to make a statement.Ver másVer menos
