  Excellent Monitor for Coding and Productivity

  **5 out of 5 stars**I'm not a gamer, so I can't comment on the high refresh rates or gaming performance. However, I bought this monitor primarily for programming and general productivity, and it has been excellent.The 27-inch 2K QHD resolution provides plenty of screen space for writing code, viewing documentation, and working with multiple windows side by side. Text appears sharp and clear, which helps reduce eye strain during long coding sessions.The colors look great, the IPS panel provides good viewing angles, and the overall image quality is impressive for the price. Setup was straightforward, and the monitor has performed reliably so far.I was happy enough with the first one that I ended up buying two of them. Having dual 27-inch QHD monitors has significantly improved my workflow and productivity when coding.Even though it's marketed as a gaming monitor, developers and other productivity-focused users can benefit just as much from the high-quality display and extra screen real estate.   Good but flawed

  It's a good monitor for the price but it has artifacts when running at 160hz and when lowered to 144 hz it flashes / flickers when gaming. So far 120hz works flawless. Some may complain about the brightness but all you have to do is use the monitor settings to adjust the brightness, it looks great at 100% brightness. I would recommend this monitor for a cheap alternative to some expensive well known brands and if you aren't looking for the 160-144hzVer másVer menos

  Very nice monitor *Update

  I was looking for a 1080p 165hz+ to play some fps. I have a 32 inch 1440p and a 28 inch 4k that are very nice as well. The 32 inch 1440p does 144hz with vrr. But the 4k is on 60hz.I had read up on this and noticed that the only review I found on this said the monitor would not do vrr with hdmi. I was going to use display port anyway and with the discount and % off it was decently below $100. Took the chance.This monitor honestly looks way better than I thought it would. Colors are great. My 32 inch is a Dell that reviews very well and has nice color. It is calibrated. And this looks really good compared to that. As good? No. But really good.Not only that but the 24 inch screen does not over pixelate like I thought it might.I played some games over display port and the monitor had no issues. No tearing, no lag, not noticeable ghosting, or any of that. Ghosting bothers me which is why I gave my wife my a 1440p VA monitor I had. Looked great until the action started. And it messed with me.The refresh rate combined with vrr worked like it should. But what about hdmi. The monitor comes with an HDMI cable. But I did not use that. I used a nice ultra high speed hdmi I already had laying here.First, I tested on Xbox Series X. It did show vrr. Allowed 120hz. And the monitor was showing this. I did Fortnite which has some drops here and there and even with those odd drops it has to the 90s for me it was smooth. Though mostly it stuck right near 120. But it did allow vrr and 120hz over hdmi.On to pc. I hooked the same HDMI to my PC and it was showing 60hz. I went into AMD Adrenaline and toggled on VRR. Then I went to Windows settings and changed the Hz to 180. All good. Windows, AMD, and this monitor (H25T7) all show 180Hz. I then did a game test.I jumped on PUBG as that game has frame drops and is all over for me on all my systems. This particular PC however does not have stutter I have seen on other PCs though. The frame rate in lobby was showing over 400. But that is static basically. In the game this FPS was anywhere from 92 (lowest) to over 200. Was mostly around 160 Hz. I did not notice any issues. It was smooth as you could want.Overall I was surprised by this monitor at this price. I was on the fence about taking the chance. But then I figured if the ghosting was bad or vrr did not work well I would just use it as a monitor for chats and such.Note: Windows automatically put his monitor as a 10-bit panel. And so did AMD Adrenaline. I did not mess with those. So the color settings are at 10-bit RGB 4:4:4 Full.Update: Monitor did not last. I had moved this to the side as my monitor 3. Was gifted an ultrawide 3440x1440 and another 2560x1440 alienware monitors. This one was hooked using the hdmi 1 port. I never really used the speaker. I was then gifted an PS3, likely used, and hooked that up instead to hdmi one. No sound. Volume at 100. I moved the hdmi to port 2, never used, would not detect the signal. I then tested the hdmi 2 with other devices and no signal. 1 also did not have sound with those. Different cables as well.Grabbed my portable monitor and hooked up the PS3 just for a check. Sound is fine from PS3. Monitor did not have any sound.I then noticed that on a black loading screen I was getting a lot of white pixels, hdmi 1 on my last check. Checked again, with other devices. Hooked PC up and used a black screen. There were a lot of just very singular white spots. Did a panel check and it seems those pixels have a problem. Those were not there when I first used it.In the end I cannot give this monitor a good review. It was not used much. Just occasionally. And the HDMI 2 port, which I honestly should have checked, did not work at all. Either it messed up while never used or it came messed up. I have several older monitors that have worked much longer than this one.

  Solid 1080p 180Hz for a low-cost option... just a few gripes.

  Have been using this monitor for a little over 2 months now. I'll say, despite it being 1080P FHD, just as my previous monitor was (previous monitor was an HP 1080p 60hz monitor, intended for office use), while the image quality of video games is quite nice, with the 180HZ refresh rate displaying as advertised, when using the monitor for text reading, web surfing, or in my case, music score composition, the black color of text/music notes sort of bleeds around each letter/note pretty harshly, and causes you to feel like you need to rub your eyes to clarify your vision, sort of like if you had teary, bloodshot eyes.My unit also did NOT include the screws necessary to install the mount to the monitor's stand arm... I had to go digging through my garage to find some that fit, and I found some that matched the threads in the base, but I have to have the monitor resting on a flattened out microfiber cloth to prevent it from scratching the desk since the screws required have an acorn seat + a flat phillips head to become flush with the bottom of the mount, and the screws I found have normal heads, and as such, protrude from the bottom of the baseplate.despite that, I haven't had any issues with it's stability, and I use an electric standing/sitting desk.The power supply cable assembly is very similar to a laptop charger, which has a wattage inverter between the wall and the monitor. I suppose this is a necessary piece of equipment in order to run a 180Hz display... however, having a rising/shortening desk may pose issues to others as well, since the wall to adapter connection can become loose over some time of use. (Had it slightly come undone once while gaming, which caused the monitor to shut off mid-game.)Not a big deal, as it has only happened once, and other factors may have also led to the disconnection.. but overall, monitor is solid, aside from text display quality, the missing screws upon its arrival, and a couple of other insignificant complaints. I'd suggest dropping the extra money on a monitor with a bit more quality to it's packaging and engineering than this one, but if you're looking for high refresh rate for low costs, this monitor paired with a GE 4K HDMI cable will do you just fine for a while.Lastly, what I wish would've been included is cables for BOTH connection methods.

  This thing is better than my old flagship MSI monitor.

  I really don't want to type a big set of paragraphs but I do really want to get it across that this is an amazing monitor. I keep it set to 180 hz but play all my games at 120, I never really notice any tearing outside of games that are already famous for mild screen issues. The black equalizer mode is a great tool but I keep mine off - if you like less vibrant blacks (easier to see things in the dark) that's for you, but I live without it. It's not exactly zero bevel but you aren't going to notice, or care, at this price point.It's got some ghosting if you really look for it, but believe it or not it's less than my old 180hz MSI monitor had. The adjustability actually shocks me still, my old monitor would flicker and freak out at the slightest touch but this one feels like I can manhandle it and no matter how I adjust it I never see it freak out or tantrum like my old one.Colors on this are great, by the way. It takes a few hours of testing to really dial in your profile but once you do it's a really gorgeous display. It even has a "reader" mode where it turns the screen sepia, and you can make it more or less dark for comfort. I really can't sing this monitor's praises enough, especially for the price.Ver másVer menos

  Best budget monitor and easy recommendation.

  Saw these on YouTube channels and could not believe the great deals. After owning one for about 3 months now I can say this brand is trustworthy. No frills monitor did all it advertised and I had no issues with image. The only concerns you may have is the decent stand and basic UI. However your not getting this for that and the cut backs are minimal. For the price this just amazing value and what we should be paying, the other brands are just ripping us off. I already bought another ktc monitor for my family and they love it too. In case your wondering yes, it's perfect for arc raiders.Ver másVer menos
