Great Value Phone with Excellent Battery Life and Camera
Excellent budget phone with great features! Setup was quick and easy with Tracfone. The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G runs smoothly, the screen looks bright and clear, and the battery lasts all day. The 128GB storage is more than enough for apps and photos, and the 50MP camera takes surprisingly sharp pictures for the price. Call quality and 5G speeds have both been great. Like the phone. Phone number transfer NOT easy.
We had to replace my spouse's aged LG smart phone and chose this one. I already have the A14 so chose this one. Easy to set up and use. Easy to activate on tracfone, but not so easy to transfer service from old phone to this one. First, our QR reader on the LG was outdated so couldn't use it. Using Smartswitch on both didn't help. Had to transfer everything manually. Then, had to contact tracfone and spent an hour just to transfer phone number from old phone to this one. Why? Why does tracfone make it so difficult to transfer number? Why do they make it so hard to just buy a phone when you already have a plan?Overall, phone is nice and lightweight. Phone was easy to set up and use. Seems Durable enough. Good Value for money. Couldn't get it through tracfone due to already having a plan so bought it here. Highly recommend it. Does what it should. Quick response and charging, though not "Lightning fast."Ver másVer menos

Don't buy this phone!!!
This is my second A16 in 1 1/2 months and I have to say this phone is consistent, both were terrible with the same problems. Constant popup saying UI is not responding, always freezing up with no action or use available, and trying to scan bar codes is neaqr impossible. The phone also sends an error message that the phone is over heating frequently. My phone is used constantly in my job and I don't have 10 minutes to let it cool down before using again. A little glitchy
Has glitches, not much faster than my A13. Never a big fan of Google texts. Phone suddenly started playing music and showing a gallery of my pictures for no reason. I'm not sure how long this one will last. But it's fairly easy to use and compatible with the other Samsungs.Ver másVer menos

You get what you pay for, good value
It’s a trash phone but for $60 you can’t complain. I bought it for my daughter to watch YouTube and play games, I didn’t even pay for service or connect it to tracphones service. From the back it looks like a flagship phone and actually has a decent weight to it, it feels premium in the hand. There’s a decent amount of lag when navigating pages and apps, but nothing deal breaking, lag is pretty standard on android phones. 90hz display is nice but the lag kind of negates the point. It doesn’t lag when actually playing video or playing most games, just when scrolling through settings/apps/homescreen etc for some reason.If you’re looking for a cheap “tablet” you can’t really beat it. The battery easily lasts a full day; I can get 2-3 days out of it with light use. I wouldn’t want to use it as my daily driver long term, but it would work in a pinch.Ver másVer menos
