  He really handy little device

  This works very well! Very easy to pair two pairs of earbuds to them, and very travel friendly, too. I like how easy this is to operate, and it is so much better than those airplane headphones.

  Will not fly without our AirFly devices, and we use one ever day at home too.

  I've seen people using similar devices on planes and wondered how good they are. Most people I asked were happy with theirs, but I don't know which makes or models they use.After researching a lot of devices, I finally decided to purchase AirFly. I purchased both a AirFly Pro 2 Deluxe, and a AirFly SE. The deluxe can also be used as a receiver and plug into (for example) your stereo allowing you to play your phone's music throughout your home, AND, it allows you to pair two devices to it simultaneously.They are very easy to pair with, have great range and battery life, and no noticeable lag. There's an easy to use battery indicator on each unit, and I haven't run out of power even on 9 hour flights. (Plus, if it were a problem, you could plug in a USB-A to USB-C cable from the airline's seatback charging port to the AirFly and it would power it forever. You could likewise use a charging brick if that's handy, but, again, the battery lasts a long time.When not traveling we use the Deluxe model on our bedroom TV for nighttime viewing as we are both a little hard of hearing. We plug power into it and have both our Airpods paired with it. We mute our TV, which allows us to set the volume as high as we want without disturbing the peace in the neighborhood. One note: The AirFly will power itself down if a device doesn't connect to it after a bit (it's a feature, not a bug), so we have to turn the power switch off (on from the last night) and back on again. No biggie, but in all fairness I thought I'd mention that.Side note for Apple Airpod users: We've tried other Bluetooth transmitters which allow more than one device to connect and have experienced pairing nightmares. Using the Deluxe AirFly we can pair and connect without issue, although sometimes it may take up to a minute. AirPods (at least ours, PRO 3s) will automatically connect with the last two devices they're paired with. (And will pair with up to 10 different devices)I will update this review if any of the above changes. YMMV, but we are very happy with these, especially when flying.Ver másVer menos

  Travel Must Have if you have wireless listening devices

  This is an awesome, must-have item if you have AirPods (okay, or wireless headphones or earbuds.) Makes travelling so civilized. Simply plug it in to the airline's audio plug and after pairing with your wireless airpods you get the audio. It is great! Very small, easy to carry with your carry on and wireless airpods. Sound clarity is great! I have not notices any lag in audio that doesn't match with what you are seeing (you know, lips moving but you're hearing words that don't line up.) I've used this on trains and tour buses in other countries while travelling. Battery life is great, recharging is easy. I'm not sure why I waited so long. I hate the airline provide headsets, the cheap disposable ear buds - the sound quality of using your own product that often has noise cancelling features make this awesome. Has a small carry case to protect it and keep it all together.Ver másVer menos

  great for frequent travellers

  If you fly frequently with airlines that have entertainment units in the back of the headrests then these things are a must have. They pair easily with my airpod pros combined with the noise cancellation of the airpods you get great sound out them. There is no noticeable lag with movies. The pro units have both transmit and receive function but I only use it as a transmitter and the deluxe includes a dual mono plug used on some airlines still and a little pouch to store it in.I usually charge my unit up after each use but have flown about 6 hours without have any issue with battery life, they claim up to 25+ hours of battery life.I knocked off one star because on a couple of occasions I have noticed a weird static noise that just randomly starts and the only way to get rid of it is to turn off the airfly and turn it back on again. The countless times I have used the airfly I've only noticed the static issue a few timesVer másVer menos

  Works great and has all the accessories you need

  The pro version comes with everything you need to keep in your pocket for a flight; international headphone adapter with the two prongs, a usb charging cable and the air fly itself. I have used this to connect AirPods Pro gen 1 and AirPod max over ear headphones interchangeably so that I can stay comfortable on long flights and charge each respective headphones as necessary while still being able to use the inflight entertainment system with the Airfly. Set up wasn’t too difficult but it can get confusing to sync headphones that disconnect.Ver másVer menos

  Poor Quality

  At first I loved the AirFly Pro 2 Deluxe, now I do not. I originally bought the adapter for a long cross country flight. It worked great and was very easy to connect and the quality of sound was wonderful. The adapter worked great for my first round trip flight and that is where it stopped. During the use on the next round trip, the connection started to get a static sound about 1 hour into the flight. I initially thought it was a poor connection with the plane and not my adapter. However, it happened again, and it has happened on the last 4 flights. I am very disappointed since it is no longer working properly. I also noticed a slight buzz sound when I plugged the adapter into the plane for charging while using it. The product is a great idea, but it needs some more work on quality.Ver másVer menos
