Good quality, good value.
I'm very happy with this little guy. I didn't buy it with any illusions that it would be part of a pro studio. I just enjoy making music in my home office as a hobby and wanted a simple keyboard controller for it. The build quality is quite good for its price point, and the keys, while not feeling like a Steinway concert grand, actually feel pretty good. I like the simplicity, and also the size - you can easily take it places and just plug it into a laptop. It's a good value for the money.Ver másVer menos

Safe choice for a desktop MIDI controller.
The standard cheap, small, MIDI controller. The keys are a bit stiff, like most keyboards this size, but i like that switching octaves and switching MIDI channels are easy, which is perfect if you're mucking around in DAWs. Polyphonic touch is there, but not as granular as you might like, but hey, it's 40 bucks.Ver másVer menos

Great Feeling Keys but no Aftertouch
The keys feel great, firm with a good spring back response, but there is no aftertouch on the Microlab like my Arturia Keystep 37 has. The keys on both are the same size and quality thought which was the main reason I bought it.Other cutbacks are there is no MIDI 5 Pin DIN I/O and no indicator lights above the keys like the 37, but for the price I will not complain. A MIDI host can be added later if I need the 5 Pin DIN.The main reason I bought the Microlab was because it would fit on the corner of my table and take up very little space while still having good quality keys. For this has met my expectations.Recommended as a compact MIDI controller or to add 2 more octaves to another keyboard. I already feel like Rick Wakeman using more than one keyboard at the same time. Maybe I'll add a few more.Ver másVer menos

Good portable entry keyboard
Solid entry keyboardBiggest gripe with it is the key size. This is intended for on-the-go, so this design choice makes sense. If you don't care for portability, I would find a slightly larger one so it matches a standard keyboard. It was pretty plug and play. It worked with FL Studio easily.Ver másVer menos
