Soft, warm, knit cotton swaddling blanket. Comfy and beautiful! Superior quality!
This is a review for Little Dedi Nora 100% Organic Cotton Baby Blanket 80 x 100 cm Grey Blue, GOTS Certified, Soft and Breathable, Ideal for Newborns and InfantsFirst of all, I want to advocate for myself! I would love for Little Dedi to branch out and make a "Big" Dedi line of swaddling blankets.. for me! I swear the second I felt this blanket I wanted to snuggle up and take a nap! Although I could only wrap this thing around my head a couple times, it's actually a great size for infants and toddlers even. It's 40x32 and will work well as bedding, to swaddle or use in a crib, car seat or stroller.Again, but it bears repeating, this is a very soft blanket. It has some stretch due to the knitting, and it's made from 100% organic cotton. Additionally, being organic cotton makes the chance of any skin irritation for baby extremely low so it's a great fiber for little ones. I didn't have any issues to report about the construction. Everything is stitched well and knit together beautifully. The blanket is cozy but lightweight, not too bulky. It should be very comfortable without being too hot and stuffy like polyester alternatives can be, cotton breathes well and the knit style only adds to the comfort. You could use this blanket season to season so it has a lot of utility.The color is a neutral shade of gray, looks quite chic actually, so it's a good unisex shade for gifting. And this would make a great gift, it comes with a nice presentation in a sturdy box and includes a pamphlet about it's safe, certified, organic manufacturing so the recipient knows the textile is a high quality. The pamphlet also tells you how to wash (cold, gentle cycle with delicate detergent. Lay flat to dry or tumble on low). It also tells you how to mend a small snagged loop or fix any pilling that may occur over time.I washed mine on gentle and cold and dried it on low heat, my go to for baby stuff. It dried faster than I anticipated so maybe keep a timer on it. It came out looking just as it did when I put it in the wash, I didn't have any shrinking, fading or pills.When I ordered this blanket it was listed at $34.90. I thought that seemed fair for an organic cotton baby blanket but after I received it and saw how well it was made, I decided it was a bargain for such high quality. Saw this Little Dedi baby blanket and instantly knew I had to get it for my daughter. She has a ton of baby blankets, but none quite like this one. I have gotten several other Little Dedi items in the past and they are all exceptional quality, so I knew this one would be too!For starters, I love the organic cotton fabric this blanket is crafted with. It is so soft and cozy—breathable due to its knitted design, but still warm and comforting. It is easy to wash and maintain, which I appreciate as a mom with a 9 month old. Just use cold water and tumble with low heat or air dry as the instructions state. This blanket has held up well after washing it and continues looking brand new after several uses.I love the soft shade of pink. The color is stunning—it is a sweet and girly hue, perfect for my girly girl, and matches the photos listed online exactly!This blanket comes packaged beautifully. Beautiful, heirloom quality blanket
This is a nice light breathable blanket that has enough heft to it to feel substantial while also being soft and breezy enough that I don't have anxieties of the baby is going to overheat in it. It's a very pretty weave that also improves the breathability, the color looks great. It feels very high quality and the knit is very consistent and even. I like that it arrives packaged ready to gift, so you can pretty much just wrap the outside and have a beautiful heirloom quality baby blanket to give somebody. The fact that it's organic cotton is particularly important to me, partially because I am sensitive about what does against my baby's skin, but also because my daughter is now at the age where she chews on everything, so if she's going to chew on a cotton blanket I would much more prefer that it's organic.Ver másVer menos

Quality like this is hard to come by
I might be Little Dedi's biggest fan. Everything they make makes me go "WOW" the moment I open it. From their super luxe packaging, to the quality of their fabric, this is one of the rare brands left in the world that makes products of such high quality that they genuinely spark joy. This blanket is no exception. You kind of just have to hold it to understand. The pattern of the weaving is also a bonus feature, because it's engaging enough to act like a bit of a sensory toy for your baby.
