Great for the price
Great controller, quality material, very comfortable. Only minor complaint is that the fit is a little small. I have smaller hands and it's just a bit too small for a perfect fit in the hands.

Mostly okay but the D-pad is horrible
I needed a new controller for my console and PC, so I opted for a PS4-style controller to see if it was worthwhile. For the most part, it's okay. I haven't encountered stick drift YET but who knows if it will happen. I'm assuming we aren't getting hall effect control in the sticks at this price point, but it is possible we are and that these joysticks will last a very long time. I'm much more used to the PSX/2/3-style controller, so the shoulder buttons feel a bit out of place and not quite so accessible and ergonomic. They are at least quite responsive. My biggest gripe with this controller is the D-pad, and it applies to most other controller D-pads as well. The pad itself is a single piece, which means accidental activation of directions I'm not trying to press. The D-pad is always best-served with individual and 100% physically-separate buttons instead of having the D-pad hat somewhat UNDER the controller (usually a flat projection around the entire bottom edge of the d-pad singular button, which moves with the rest of the button and will accidentally activate button presses you did not intend to do if you are not very accurate in your presses.)Outside of that, for those that started on a controller like this, it's probably a decent one for you. I'll keep this one for the consoles but I need an older-style one that has independent buttons for my more serious PC games.Ver másVer menos

Cheaper, durable, and Solid-all-around alternative to the official PS4 Dualshock controller.
A good, cheaper alternative to the Original PS4 controller. The ergonomics of this controller vary significantly; it feels more like you're holding an Xbox controller than a Playstation controller. Which is honestly up to preference whether this is a negative for you. It lacks sixaxis support, but it's not even worth docking a star as I can count on one hand how many games use this feature. The packaging says it doesn't have light bar functionality but this is misleading in a good way; the functionality is still there, but just in the little blue light below the PS button. I got to low health in Resident Evil 4 and the controller light turned red letting me know I was one hit away from game over. The Face buttons are bigger and the D-Pad is comfortable. A little stiff, but will be less so over time after use. But probably the best thing about the controller is it doesn't FEEL cheap. It feels just right, with the right amount of weight.HIGHLY recommend. The official PS4 controller has durability issues and this one seems pretty well built, considering the last Nacon controller I bought works to this day, and the other 3 official Playstation controllers I had are e-waste now.Ver másVer menos

Decent Cheaper Alternative not Good for 2D Games
It's a decent controller for its price, but my issues with it is that the joysticks are a bit longer and the area for your thumb is smaller than a PS4 controller's jot sticks, which causes them to feel weird and have to get used to. The controller is also a bit small, with the button's layout being a bit squished in together rather than being nicely spaced out which makes pushing some buttons taking some awkward effort. The biggest issue I have is the D-pad, when I'm playing a 2D game my character will randomly move up or down when I'm holding the left or right and their is this weird clunky feeling delay when I switch from moving left or right to up or down. Overall its a decent, slightly awkward controller, but don't buy it if you plan on playing anything that requires the D-pad for player movement.Ver másVer menos
