Double the pleasure. Bought Two!
I was so impressed with this TV that I ended up buying **two** of them.The picture quality is outstanding—bright, crisp, and vibrant. Movies and TV shows look fantastic, but where this television really shines is **Art Mode**. The artwork looks incredibly realistic, and when it’s mounted properly, people genuinely think it’s a framed piece of art rather than a television.Once the TV was installed, the first-time setup was surprisingly easy. Samsung did a great job making the software intuitive, and I was up and running in no time.The only part that took longer than expected was the wall installation. If you want that clean, gallery-style look with no visible wires, be prepared to spend some time. Running electrical and hiding the cables is definitely **not for the faint of heart**. It helps tremendously if you have an electrician friend (or hire one). The extra effort is absolutely worth it, though—the finished result is stunning.If you’re looking for a TV that performs beautifully and enhances your home’s or office décor, The Frame is hard to beat. Excellent purchase. It truly elevates the room.I researched pretty much all of the smart “art” TVs before deciding on this one. Since we already owned another Samsung, we ultimately chose this over some of the lower-priced brands, and I’m so glad we did.The UX/UI is a huge improvement over our older Samsung, and the artwork display rotation elevates the room 100-fold. It genuinely looks like a framed piece of art rather than a TV dominating the space. The rotation of the art is subtle and delightful.Installation was fairly simple after watching a few YouTube videos, although I enlisted my contractor because the TV was a little too heavy for me to maneuver and mount on my own. We made just two holes in the wall: one behind the TV and another inside our hollow floating mantel, which houses the base unit. The end result is incredibly clean with no visible wires.We also love playing music through Spotify when we’re not watching TV, and having Alexa integrated makes it even easier to choose what we want to see, hear, or watch.Picture and sound quality are both excellent. We haven’t felt the need to add external speakers or a soundbar.Overall, it’s a beautiful TV that functions as part of the room rather than just another big black screen on the wall. Inspired a remodel
I love this TV but it cost me a small fortune, lol. The Frame was the inspiration for a fireplace remodel so it led to a complete overhaul. The final product is beautiful and the Frame is the only TV I wanted there. It didn’t disappoint. The picture quality is amazing and the art mode is phenomenal and realistic. We have received nothing but positive compliments and some saying “I want one” Only one small glitch, the remote didn’t work but I ordered a cheap $18 one from Amazon and that works perfectly.Ver másVer menos

So pleased to have our room back.
Worth the wait! Incredible high definition images when in tv/streaming mode, beautiful art available with the unit, and it dims itself in art-mode. Sound is just great, and we don't care for concert level surround sound in our home anyway. But you could add that if you wanted, I suppose.The key thing, however, is how delighted we are with it politely hanging on the wall, like all the other art in the room. It's not a huge piece of burnt toast perched on nice furniture as the bossiest thing in the room. You genuinely can walk in and not realize there's a tv, because it's not gobbling up a prime surface yelling "Hi! I'm a TV!" It's about time. For generations a television set of some form has dominated spaces of our homes, overriding all the pretty, or nostalgic furniture we have collected or saved to purchase. No more! And we no longer have to buy or build a separate huge piece of furniture to hide the darn thing.We got this so that a huge techy piece of plastic would finally quit bullying the room style. I will say we deliberately chose the wired internet option, rather than the wi-fi only version, because of the nature of our home spaces.FYI, it comes just with a thin black frame. The cost of a separate "art" frame can be quite expensive, but save up and get the TV plus an attachable frame that coordinates with your style. It's so worth it.Also, we had a handyman mount it so the wires are inside the wall. But that is not necessary at all. Bad picture, bad operating system, bad wall mount
Only buy this TV if you want a picture frame that can also be a TV. Do not buy this if you want a TV that can also be a picture frame.1. They have clearly sacrificed TV video quality for picture quality. Many of the Samsung OS picture quality settings are disabled for this TV. There isn’t much adjustability to the video quality and the default picture quality lacks definition and suffers from motion rendering.2. The OS is horrible. Navigation is difficult. WiFi connectivity is a mystery and doesn’t work. It forces you to preview movies in the home page when you don’t want to. The high level Samsung video quality functions are disabled.3. The art frame gallery requires a $50 per year or $5 per month subscription and the very limited complimentary “art” isn’t artwork. It’s very basic graphic design and a couple photos.4. The wall mount system is probably the worst design I’ve ever had the displeasure to hang. It’s designed to allow for mistakes in your ability to hang it level, but that only makes it more difficult to hang it in the exact spot you want it.Only buy this TV if you want a picture frame with a $50 per year subscription to display art somewhere in your house that you might sometimes want to also watch TV. If this is your primary purpose, it does the job well. The artwork looks nice, the TV is thin and it looks like a picture frame on the wall.Do not buy this if the primary purpose will be watching TV and you sometimes want to display art. My 10 year old 55” Vizio that cost $300 has better video quality and an equally buggy OS. All is well with this product, except the app
Well, after several weeks of used, I can say the TV itself is quite excellent. The appearance is excellent, and the picture frame function - once the pictures are listed on the frame, that is.We use this device mostly as a picture frame for our own photos. The first transfer of photos, which requires installing the SmartThings app on your phone, went smoothly. However, when it came to adding additional photos to the frame, problems began.The SmartThings app is fairly confusing to use, even when it works. But once the first batch or two of photos were loaded onto the frame, the app could no longer detect most photos on my phone. The wifi network is currently configured. The app permissions are set to allow complete access to files and photos. But.... It cannot see most of the photos on my phone - only the recently taken photos in the camera folder.And so, my review is that the hardware is quite good but the SmartThings software for accessing the frame is very unreliable and clumsy when it works. The TV remote is ok; but operates quite differently from any other remote I have used. You will have to get used to it. Oh, and mounting is a bit trickier than many other wall mounts; but the supplied mounting hardware works well to keep the frame very close to the wall - like a picture frame.Samsung should be embarrassed at the failures of the Android software for controlling this otherwise quite excellent product. I've tried the various suggested fixes: resetting hardware, deleting the cache memory of the app, restarting the phone, etc. No joy.Addendum: I have discovered that choosing the photos I want to upload to the Frame on my phone in my gallery app and then sharing to Smart Things seems to work. The trick is to avoid starting from Smart Things, which can't seem to find photos on my phone. Instead start with your gallery and go from there to Smart Things with photos already chosen.Still embarrassing, Samsung!Ver másVer menos

Highly recommend
Love this TV. It opened the space up so much visually and being wall mounted it looks great. I have the screen saved with a Monet painting. I am super happy with my purchase.

Experience poor. Not fit for purpose
I had a Hitachi tv before this which was 10 years old and the tv picture was far superior.We have 2 Samsung frames which I wish I'd not purchased. Often on the frame we're watching a movie and when it shows a scene in bright sun it's all burnt out, so i have to stop the film find the brightness setting (which is several menus to get through as you have to turn off the auto mode) and lower the brightness. Then a dark scene comes on and you have to readjust the brightness and contrast again. We stopped a James Bond movie at least 4 times to readjust. It makes out everything is auto but that just doesn't work.I watch football too and there's a football mode, however it's greyed out and you can't use it. In normal mode the ball glitches and it's unwatchable.The artwork looks good but there's an expensive subscription fee, however there are ways around this if you Google it.The menu is 2 menus in one and contradicts itself. It maybe a user issue but youd have thought the auto modes would make the viewing experience better.Expensive and not fit for purpose.Ver másVer menos
