  6800 to a 9070 XT, night and day difference

  I love it!!! Upgraded from an RX 6800, and the difference is night and day. It was quiet, in fact newer AMD gpu's have it so there is zero fan rpm, similar to how psu's work. You can disable this in amd andrenaline software, thats what I did (i just need to see my fans spinning regardless, otherwise it'll bug me) Its stable out of the box, i tweaked it a bit and undervolted it and still stable. This specific GPU model was my second pic, i was gonna buy a yeston sakura 9070xt but i just didnt want to wait any longer so i picked this powercolor one. Truth be told it looks pretty sick, its thin and actually pretty small, easily fits in my mATX case. I can definitely see this fitting in even an ITX case. Its cool no problems with the temps but if i encounter issues i will update my review.Ver másVer menos

  It took me almost 20 years to move to AMD GPU, and I'm glad I did

  I was looking for an upgrade to my 5060 16GB Ti which is a pretty capable card but needed better for some games that I'm getting back into. I'd rather push a capable card lightly, than a less capable card hard. Prices these days suck but I can take the hit for this case. I decided to go with the ASUS PRIME 5070 Ti card for my mITX build that I have. This card looks good but it had issues. I got a bunch of rainbowing in the display, flashing issues, instability. Now this may be a driver issue, but It's the same machine with the 5060Ti in it so was surprised. I tried all the typical stuff reinstall, adjustments etc. etcc. but it was always unstable so I am returning it. This soured my NVIDIA experience so thought why not try AMD and see. I looked at the pulse and the reaper 9070XT and decided with the true 2 slot reaper. It's a great looking card, 2 8 pin which i like and a 2 slot for small builds. Uninstalled the old drives and installed AMD octane or whatever it's called and got the app and drivers installed. This card is dead silent and runs PERFECTLY. VERY impressed. I will now consider AMD first before NVIDIA down the road. I hope they can compete better as time goes on as well. If you're looking at the 5070 TI don't hesitate on this AMD 9070XT. It's a great card, cheaper and solid. It took me a long time to break free from the cult. You can do it too.Ver másVer menos

  Performs as Expected per the 9070XT’s specifications

  Great High End GPU able to run 1440p on Ultra on a majority of games with no issuesstable 110-150 FPS depending on game and if it’s more CPU intensive/unoptimized like a lot of games today.(i have capped at 144-165hz depending on which monitor i’m using)no problem with loud fans as others have mentioned but i’ve only been using around a week now. Appearance fits my build well and Fits in my mid tower case as expected.Cooling has had no issues whatsoever even during harsh stress testing. Peak hotspot was around 105°C for about a second before dropping down to 70-80°Cover long sessions this gpu is very stable never having any sort of drawbacks from prolonged use.I would suggest this product as it Provides great gaming versatility along with the ability to play a lot of titles at 4k 60FPS depending on quality settings however just like most GPUs available to consumers today don’t expect 60+FPS on 4k UltraThis AMD 9070XT has been a great switch from my old RTX3060 and i would highly recommend it if you got a CPU that can keep up. (ensure if switching from NVIDIA you completely clear old drivers or prepare to expect issues)My only issues/Gripes:The box i received had some visible damage although this didn’t effect anything when i put it to use:The packaging in the box was held together by what looked like scotch tape which makes me wonder if im receiving a used/refurbished GPU:Had to order this twice as my first order was lost in transit.Ver másVer menos

  Powerful Video Card - Runs Hot

  I've had this card for a while now and it is a decent card. I usually use Nvidia but I decided to use this card with my second PC setup. I mostly play DCS on PC and FPS games. For FPS games, this card absolutely rules and I would say it's on par with an RTX 5070 TI that I also used. However I found this card lacking when it came to DCS World using VR. For one, it was finicky with working correctly with VR Oculus 3 using META Link (wired), I had to do a windows 11 reset to finally get it to work (note my nvidia card worked fine). However, I don't think AMD GPUs are optimized as much as Nvidia GPUs for DCS and this struggled to get the picture and performance I was able to get with my Nvidia card in terms of FPS and smoothness. I think the problem was it would "thermal throttle", which is my biggest gripe.This card runs hot. I love that it is pretty compact, only takes up two slots in my PC, however that comes at an expense of cooling. It would climb to high 90s to 100C even with 100% fan curve, whereas my other cards would not even get close. To be fair my case is not the largest but it has intake and exhaust fans. I feel that other 9070 XT cards with larger cooling probably fair better. I ended up removing this card and putting in an rtx 4070 super and although that has less ram, it performs better in DCS world using VR and stayed in the high 70s max.The bottom line, I feel RX 9070 XT GPUs are one of the more superior cards on the market, but this particular model requires above average cooling in the PC case for it to hit its optimal performance due to the cooling system on this model being somewhat compact. Other beefier cooling models may fair better.Ver másVer menos

  Quiet, Cool, and Excellent 1440p 144hz Performance

  I installed this GPU in my PC about a week ago. Compared to my previous card, it’s very quiet. When I’m wearing headphones, I can’t hear it at all. Without headphones, it’s only barely audible. It also doesn’t make any electrical buzzing or whining noises under load (I don’t know the exact term, but if you know, you know).So far, I’ve played Expedition 33, Horizon Forbidden West, Battlefield 6, InZOI, and a heavily modded Skyrim with lots of graphics and shader mods. In all of these games, I disabled upscaling and frame generation — everything was running at native resolution only.My monitor is 2560×1440, 144Hz, and I can confidently say this card handles everything easily. I didn’t measure the exact FPS, but visually it’s clearly around the 140 FPS range in these games. Temperatures stayed around 65–68°C.Installation was straightforward. The card is much thinner than my previous GPU, I secured it with two screws, and I ordered a small support bracket since the card is a bit longer than my old one.Before buying, I spent some time reading reviews. I chose this card mainly because it was the cheapest option available at the time (mid-October 2025). Back then, I remember only one negative review about the card being defective or arriving used. There were also reviews claiming the card is very noisy — I can confirm that this is simply not true. I’ll attach photos showing the fan speeds after one hour of playing Expedition 33 on max settings, without FSR or any AI features.Another complaint I saw was about the design — that the card looks “ugly” and that it’s better to spend $100–$200 more for something with nicer looks and RGB. For me, budget was the priority, and I’m perfectly fine just turning on the RGB lighting in my case.Overall, I can definitely recommend this GPU.   Wonderful GPU

  I have now had both the 9070 PowerColor Reaper and the 9070XT.Absolutely zero issues. No coil whine, the fans are perfect, the card is cool overall, memory temps (Hynix RAM) a little higger than some of the other cards but well within range.Both cards overclock very well.-75MV and gaming at steady 2900-3100 mhz, mem 2650 fast timing.The 9070 clocked up to 3K, the 9070XT 3.4k.These are all stable OC numbers no crashes no CTD no nonsense.These are true 2-slot cards; the GPUs PowerColor is using are later-stepping (refined), and they perform exceptionally well. Much smaller than the absurd overbuilt cards shipping. I hope this helps you.Great buy.Ver másVer menos
