Beautiful crimps and what an assortment of ferrules!
OMG, this is awesome! Let me revise that. The crimper is awersome. I was able to get a set of seperately purchased 6ga ferrule pack, crimped. They fit perfectly in the tool. (barely, but they fit) I was going to purchase a seperate crimper, but I thought I'd just wait to receive this kit and see if the enclosed tool would work with the 6ga. The crimp was perfect as well. The 6ga ferrules were crimped perfectly and completely. I haven't used any of the ferrules furnished with the kit yet, but they "look" fine, I doubt I will have any trouble with the enclosed various sized ferrules. I wish I'd have bought a kit like this years ago. Really really nice crimps and I'd buy it again soley based on the one job. (6ga job on Victron equipment) Some of the reviews mentioned a couple of various problems. BUT, crimping 6ga ferrules was absolutely NOT one I experienced. (remember, they (the 6ga barely fit the tool. So a thicker "might not" fit. I bought standard gauge ferrules) The ferrule is VERY secure and looks perfect. I love this set, and I'd have to say I'd recommend it to anyone wanting really nice looking connections.On edit… OK I use some crimp ferrules from the kit.
