Exactly what it says it does. Great Mac compatibility with extra steps for extended screens.
Fantastic device. I was working on an older Mac, and the automatic software download did not prompt for me, but it's easy to find and set up. The build quality is sturdy, the transfer from screen to screen is smooth, and I now have 3 screens. I have a MacBook Pro m1 13", so the accompanying MagSafe power brick it comes with is enough to plug into the screens via USB-C and when connect to my Mac with the screen's USB-C cable, it powers my Mac as well safely. This leaves me one more port for hard drives and stuff. Highly recommended. Super compatible with the Mac. And also my steamdeck. Super portable and I love the adjustable screen.Ver másVer menos

Awesome Monitor
Crystal clear 4K monitors. Both monitors operate with a single usb c connection and my laptop gets power from the monitors once I started using a100W power supply connected to the monitors. Light, thin and easy to transport from home to office when needed. I would have given 5 stars except occasionally in the morning after being in standby all night the monitors will not power back up unless I unplug power for a minute and plug back in. A little annoying but all is okay once they reset and power back up.Ver másVer menos

Awesome Monitor, but I Got a Bad Unit... I Think
I absolutely LOVED THIS ITEM. I was PLEASANTLY surprised at how sturdy it is, how the picture looks, and the portability (which is what I really, REALLY needed). It was extremely easy to set up. You take it out of the box and open it up. Then yesterday, it just TURNED OFF. I tried to turn it back by unplugging and then plugging. NOTHING. I'm going to assume I just got a bad unit as I've become addicted to using it in my hotel room. Now I'm sitting here typing from my computer keyboard. I will be ordering a new if they promptly refund this one or replace this one.Ver másVer menos

Fantastic dual monitor for portable and travel productivity
As someone who works behind a laptop the majority of the day, multiple monitors are a must to staying productive at home or away from home. I have been looking for a solution that would maximize viewable space/resolution in as compact as a package as possible. As a result, I decided to pick up the InnoView 15.6" Portable 4K Dual Monitor for a number of reasons- viewable space (dual 15.6 monitors), resolution (4k)- size/weight (folded, it is comparable to my Macbook Air 15 in in footprint and weight ~3.5 lbs)- build quality (the monitor is feels very solid and well-made)- connectivity (HDMI, usb-c, DP2.0)The monitor came with various cables for connectivity and power (included a power brick). It felt solid all around from the hinges, to the adjustable stand, and to the cable connections. The monitor feels very solid in hand and has good weight. Once the monitor is set-up, it holds form and angles very well. The monitor is best used in landscape mode, although it can be used in portrait if needed. In portrait mode, you won't have as many viewing options. Also, you'll have to consider the connectivity ports and cables connected.I am using with my Macbook M4 air, which will natively support multiple external monitors. I believe an M1 or M2 would need an external dock/adapter to support multiple external monitors, so you would need one with an older Mac to use this monitor in a muti-external monitor set-up.For my set-up, the M4 works very well. Connectivity is straight forward, and I used a usb-c and HDMI (usb-c-HDMI cable) to the InnoView. Luckily, with the Macbook, you will still be able to power via Magasafe connector. The monitor connected perfectly, and I was able to utilize 4k 60hz refresh rates for both monitors. Picture was clear, accurate, and vibrant. From a productivity standpoint, you can use this in multi-monitor or single monitor mode. Single monitor mode allows you to create one single large monitor. You can power this from the provided power supply, an OEM, or if needed a power bank that can output 30W+. The powerbank option is great for working in an airport lounge or coffee shop. The only challenge with my setup has been a clean cable setup, as you are connecting two video sources and a power supply to the monitor and laptop.I've been able to use this with my work and home macbooks without issues as well as phones (android, ios).I do hope to try testing with a windows machine.Overall, great productivity device, well-made, and versatile. The only downside was cable management (which isn't really the monitor's fault).

Great Portable Monitor with Some Docking Station Quirks
Overall, this InnoView 18” 2K portable monitor is a great product. The display is crisp, the 100Hz refresh rate makes everything feel smooth, and the dual-screen foldable design is excellent for multitasking on the go. I especially appreciate how lightweight and stable it is—it’s perfect for travel or moving between workspaces. That said, I’ve had some compatibility issues with my Surface Studio docking station. The monitor doesn’t always work properly unless I plug both cords directly into my laptop, and even then, there are times when my device doesn’t detect both screens. Another quirk is when the device goes to sleep—I sometimes have to unplug and replug the monitor to get it working again.Despite those minor frustrations, I still really like the product for its portability, stability, and performance. It’s a great solution for dual-screen productivity without needing drivers, and I’m hoping future updates might improve compatibility with docking stations. Many of my coworkers want one now.Ver másVer menos

Good, with important exceptions
Perfect for what I need. Got the 15” 1080 folding option. I really love it. Lost a couple stars for the following:1. Took me an incredible amount of time to figure the driver needed for Mac. Admittedly, it took me a while to find the QR code on the back. Even then it took some work to get it working. The software records your screen to extend it, So they may be seeing everything I’m doing haha2. The screens are completely different color haha! If I cared about image I would return it but I only use this for work so it doesn’t affect me. However there is a clear difference between the colors on the top and bottom screen. I can see this when looking at my Tahoe background on iOS. @seller, if you send me a properly working one I will update to 5 stars.EDIT:I finally realized what was going on with the different screen color. I'm not sure if this was in the description when I bought it but MACs do have some limitations with this. For some reason Macs refuse to handle more than one display through a single USB-C. To get around this, you have to install the driver provided that will compress a recording of a virtual screen and send it through the USB to be displayed on the second monitor. This works, but it does create the issues I've pointed out above. The colors will be different from one screen to the other and the quality is drastically lower. It makes everything look a little fuzzy. For the most part I don't mind this because I'm using it for work. However, it's important to know when purchasing. From what I can tell this is not a problem at all for windows. Just Mac which is a bummer.Ver másVer menos
