  Perfect for helping senior dog into lifted truck

  This item has been beyond useful for our 50lb senior dog to easily get into a lifted truck. It’s lightweight yet sturdy and can be easily tossed in the bed of the truck and grabbed when needed. I strapped the two Velcro straps together to make a handle for quick grab and strictly use the ramp form for stability and ease. The step side was a bit awkwardly spaced for our dog (ended up just trying to jump over it entirely), she took to the ramp side more naturally once we figured out how to position it parallel to the truck step and walking her up along the low end of the ramp. A harness with a handle was a useful guide when starting out. The material is soft and textured which provides a non-slippery surface. Has stayed pretty clean so far despite using it in the rain, various parks and parking lots. Great product, don’t hesitate.Ver másVer menos

  Perfect assist for my 14 yo fur baby!

  I was somewhat hesitant to order this after reading some of the reviews with complaints that the steps never fully opened up, or at best, were deformed.Well, first off, due to major DOUBLE shrink-wrapping, this item arrives about 1/5 its final size. (I wish I had video running as once I broke the vaccuum seal, it immediately began to rapidly expand. It was an amazing display so GET YOUR VIDEO STARTED WHILE YOU'RE OPENING!)The company booklet advises that you allow the stairs to set out for 48 hrs before use. Unlike some of the commenters experience, the stairs I received fully opened up and were perfect in shape, void of any abnormalities. I could have put it in use right away.The material is beautiful and it appears to be well made. I haven't seen any loose threads or areas that appear compromised.I have a very small (5#) 14 year old arthritic Chihuahua who normally just jumps up on our 18" high couch. She now struggles some days so we elected to look for an easier path for her.While we have not tried the "ramp", she is already comfortably using these "stairs".There were some comments that due to their dog's size, they felt this was unstable. (My girl is soooo small so this was not an issue.) For those concerned with larger pets, it would not take much for anyone, even with limited skills, to have their unit supported between two stationary items as it is wide enough not to be crowded, or for a DIYer, you could quickly create a support shell for these steps which would easily remedy their owner's concern#1 - It was literally well formed and ready to go within minutes of releasing it from the major shrink wrap. The Princess needed little encouragement to use, and this is a great purchase.#2 - The quality and aesthetics are above average, genuinely looking like a piece of furniture. (Think of an ottoman!)#3 - The conversion from stairs to a ramp takes about one minute, with the ramp aspect a few inches longer than the steps. At 14 yo, our girl has no problem with the stairs.#4 - The size received matched the posted dimension. There are multiple options to select from based on size so I encourage you to select where this unit will be most useful, and then purchase the size that is best to accommodate the length (i.e., floor space) and height. Keep in mind that you don't need to have the top of the ramp/step even with the top of the couch as it would just represent another step for your pet. (See my photo reflecting that the top step is about 2.5 - 3 inches lower than the top of our couch. It is perfect!)#6 - The cost was VERY affordable, especially taking into consideration the appearance, quality and versatility.#7 - Compared with the majority of competing "stairs" or "ramps" that I checked out prior to this purchase, with this one is hands-down the Winner!If by the rare chance this is not The One for your fur baby, just ship it back after packing it up in a bit larger box. (A few years back I had to return another shrink-wrapped item where I just included the original package and bar coding.   Best choice for Pet Stairs, foam works great, pefect height, buy this one!!!!!

  Perfect height, dog can now climb up safely. We had a hard-plastic one, and she kept hitting her fee/toes when jumping off the last step (bad bones already). The foam is perfect, not too stiff, not too soft. Holds it's shape well. When we opened it, it sprang to full size very quickly and used it in minutes. The ramp-mode is slightly lower, so it didn't work for our purpose, but having both modes is super convenient!Ver másVer menos

  Update: Soft yet sturdy ramp for a pet with back problems!

  A change occurred during our dog’s rehab. Soooooo glad that this is reversible!!! Within a week after this review, our dachshund preferred the fat ramp instead of 3-step. The flat ramp is easier for his back & we’ve kept this for him.If you have a pet with back problems, our medium-sized 24-lb dachshund learned to use this on 1st day upon arrival. He prefers the 3-steps than the flat option of this 2-in-1 ramp & its softness wasn’t too soft - just right for him to feel comfortable to climb/decline. It’s definitely sturdy & stable for his back. Folds easily to reverse to flat or 3-step surface, removable cover to clean, very stable for our dog’s back, & it looks great with our decor. There is no assembly involve either!   Perfect for my dachshund

  I was really worried that my overweight senior miniature dachshund would struggle with this, but she most definitely proved me wrong. I love that the steps are deeper than the steps I previously purchased from someone else. There’s definite stability, and it doesn’t weigh a whole lot. It’s definitely 22” (I know for sure because from the bottom of my bed to the top of my mattress is 22”). She jumps up on the bed with zero problems. I’m pretty sure she’s proud of herself. I also think this will help her on her weight loss journey. Oh, it folds and unfolds by only removing the Velcro straps and flipping it. I really like the checkered/diamond pattern on the sides because the color matches my decor. Perfect size for my space. Give it a go.Ver másVer menos

  Great for small dogs

  The stairs are great size, but will move easily on hardwood floors. I put a rubber mat underneath to stop movement. Really like the ability to wash cover- just remember Styrofoam has expanded and lining up seams when putting back on requires concentration.
