Nice Heart Rate monitor that works well!
My old dual HR monitor wouldn't pair properly with my new E-bike computer. It had no procedure to pair up with the computer -- it was to happen automatically but wouldn't pair successfully. After many tries, It did seem to have paired up properly one time but then disconnected and wouldn't connect again. This HRM 200 has a pairing procedure built in with small lights to show its status. It easily paired successfully with my computer and once paired, now connects automatically whenever I ride. I'm very happy with the purchase.Ver másVer menos

Must have for High Intensity Training
Works perfect with my Epix Pro 2nd Gen watch. I must have for anyone wanting real time HR data during high intensity training. With the Epix Pro 2nd Gen watch there is a HRV feature that can only be performed with a chest strap. This strap allowed me to use that feature as well.Ver másVer menos

Just works!
Fantastic heart rate monitor for under $100. Setup was fast and easy with my Garmin Edge 840, Apple Watch, and Zwift.Connections are stable, readings are accurate, and it stays comfortable even on long rides. Battery life has been solid too.If you want a reliable chest strap without spending big money, this is a great buy.Ver másVer menos

Faulty device, worse customer service
I bought the HRM 200 in September 2025 and used it for only about eight months before it started giving completely unreliable heart rate readings. During workouts on my Tacx smart trainer and on my mountain bike, the numbers would drop way below my actual heart rate for long stretches, with no correlation to my effort level. I kept the firmware updated, replaced the battery, and followed all care instructions. None of it made a difference.When I contacted Garmin support, the agent acknowledged the issue and offered an exchange on the spot. The catch: I'm based in Ecuador, so he escalated my case to their "multinational team" and told me I'd hear back within one to two days.Two and a half weeks later, I had received nothing. After following up multiple times, where I was told to keep waiting, I was finally told that Garmin cannot process an exchange for my country — information that was apparently available from the start, but that no one bothered to share until I pushed hard enough.The device failed well within its warranty period. The support experience was slow, disorganized, and ultimately led nowhere. If you're outside the US or one of a handful of supported markets, don't count on Garmin to stand behind their products.Ver másVer menos

Works great purchased it in DEC 2025 working great have been using it 3 days out the week straps is still good.

Durable, high quality, easy to use HRM without a bunch of extra metrics
I debated about which HRM to get and ultimately decided on this one. I am a cyclist primarily and currently don't do any other sports. I really liked being able to remove the unit to rinse or wash the band as needed. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and I have consistently had reliable, stable connections (I connect it to both Zwift through Apple TV and my Garmin Edge 540). When I am not on the bike I am wearing my Fenix, so I haven't tried connecting it to my phone yet. It's so incredibly easy to set up and each time I put on the strap it connects automatically without even pressing any buttons. The strap and unit feel solid and high quality. I have a feeling I will be using this for a long time.Ver másVer menos
