I didn’t expect to love it
I was not expecting to fall in love with this item lol.I ordered this because the unit that I work in at the hospital can get really cold at night. I didn’t want anything too thick or heavy so I took a chance on this lightweight jacket. I got everything right the first time because it’s appearance, quality, versatility, it’s material softness, perfect size and comfort makes this is the perfect buy. Oh, and let me not forget that it has a little holes for your thumbs and I just found that to be a little bonus.Ver másVer menos

Great to keep the chill off from air conditioning, packs great for travel
5'9", 180lbs = size LDidn't buy this so much for sun protection, but to have something lightweight to wear in air conditioned situations.We're in Hawaii, where the weather and outdoor temps rarely call for even a light weight jacket . . . however, many if not most buildings crank up the air conditioning to the point that I'm shivering once inside.I find that most restaurants are usually comfortable, but medical buildings, theatres, concert venues are always chilly.Lugging around a heavy jacket seems silly.I got this specifically because it's so lightweight, folds up to nothing, weighs close to nothing and is the perfect weight to throw on just to keep the chill off.It can be stuffed (not very neatly) into the inside pocket, or just tied around my waist without adding bulk or getting in the way.I wouldn't expect it to provide much warmth in actual cold weather climate situations. I also wouldn't expect it to keep me dry under much more than a light sprinkle.The zippers work smoothly and well.The hood is unstructured, so it's large and quite floppy. We went to a concert the other evening and I happened to be sitting right under the a/c and could feel the air blowing right on my neck and back. I rolled and bunched up the hood around the nape of my neck so it sorta formed a thick collar. The fact that the hood is soft and unstructured made it easy to do this and it worked great this way. It probably wouldn't stay put very well if I was walking around, but it took my mind off the chill and allowed me to enjoy the beautiful performance that evening.We have a trip coming up next week and I'll be tossing this in my backpack for the flight as I find airplanes are typically on the chilly side too.I'm 5'9", 180lbs and the Large fits well.It's a bit on the loose side. For my 5'9" height, the sleeve length is perfect but the overall length is just a tad (hits at my hips) long but . . . it doesn't look oversized. I usually wear looser fitting t-shirts or short sleeve shirts as I don't like wearing tight fitting shirts. The Large slips easily over these without bunching or struggling to keep my shirt sleeves straight under the jacket sleeves.Overall I am super happy with this and can see making really good use of it in many situations.Ver másVer menos

Tall lady with long arms
I'm a tall slender woman (6'1" 160lbs) and I often have to buy men's clothing because my issue is that the torso and sleeves are never long enough. This particular hoodie has VERY long sleeves!! I ordered the Small and it's quite roomy for me in the body, but what I love most are the long sleeves. When my thumb is seated in the thumb hole, it doesn't tug on my arms at all. If you have short arms, the sleeves might be way too long for you. I ordered several other brands of men's hoodies in Smalls, and this one by far has the longest sleeve. Other than that, it's very comfortable to wear and I have no complaints! I have to wear this in San Diego whenever I'm out even just running errands because I burn within 20 minutes. So far I think it offers the protection I need, but I wouldn't expect it to prevent burns if you're out ALL day long and aren't wearing anything underneath it. (It's SPF 50 afterall).Ver másVer menos

10 out of 10, sexy even on a chubby person
Absolutely love it! Makes my fat ass look slimmer. Thin, breathable, stretchy, great color, hood looks nice, not hot to wear so perfect for layering, hole in hand portion of sleeve fits and looks nicely on my hand. Overall very sexy even for a chubby person. Will be ordering all their colors! Only wish was maybe if the pockets had zippers, but still exceptional already. 10 out of 10 (would be 11 if had zipper pockets but maybe it would take away from the slim look of jacket?). My new favorite find for the summer. Crazy it also has UPF sun protection too, going to wear this all summer.Ver másVer menos
