This is a high-quality shell, from the weight of the plastic to the complete set of buttons (including the volume slider) to the included screws. They even have a sticker and screwdrivers included. The black shell with gold wave and gold buttons is a gorgeous combination. I've been refurbishing Gameboys and have used some various shells and parts, so I feel qualified to comment on the quality. Compared to other shell kits I've used, this one is superior. Yes, it costs more, but if you want to showcase your GBA SP, this brand is the way to go. I also recommend buying them on Amazon as there is no upcharge and you'll likely get faster shipping (and as a bonus, sometimes find shells that are out of stock on the eXtremeRate website).UPDATE March 2026:I've now purchased several of these eXtremeRate shells and they are awesome. Far superior to the other brands available. They are sturdy, very nicely detailed, and look gorgeous once completely installed. I would only change two minor details (pay attention eXtremeRate!):1: It seems like some of the screws are not quite as high quality as I recall from earlier models. Specifically, the shorter tri-wing screws (5 around the screen, and 2 on back). They take some downward force to screw in for the first time without stripping, so be careful. As long as you know this, you won't have any problems.2: The tiny c-clip retainer for the battery cover screw is not included. This is a very thoughtful piece of hardware to have as it keeps the screw in place on the cover after loosening so it won't be lost. I have made a habit of keeping this part from old GBA SP's so I can install it on new builds. I think eXtremeRate should seriously consider including this tiny, but valuable, piece of hardware!Ver másVer menos
