Awesome product for the price!

Got another SUV, which is bigger than the one I had before. Right away I noriced I had some blind spots. Had a dashcam before, but the display was too small. This display looked impressive, has 4 cameras and a very decent price tag. We have young kids next door who are in my driveway a lot, so I needed a good backup camera with a big display (for when I back out). This package has that.I have to say, I love everything about this dashcam system. It has a big and clear display. You can set it to display the videos you want. If you want to display anyone of your displayed videos full screen, just double tap that video (it will display that one video full screen). Double tap it again and it will display the videos you had on (before you double tapped it). I don't have any blind spots now. I haven't used all of its many features, at least not yet.First I installed all the cameras where I thought I would like them (without drilling any holes or dressing the cables very well). Drove for a week, using the camera system. Had the front and back cameras inside (looking through the windows) and the side cameras outside (cable being compressed by door weather stripping). Noticed the side cameras gave me a clear sharp video. The back camera gave me a video that was a little foggy looking (because it was looking through the window). I wasn't using the front camera video much (so I set the display to only show the back and side videos, at the same time).I noticed the side videos were at a 90° angle ( because the side cameras were mounted on the side of the door at a 90° angle). Contacted tech support, to see what could be done about that. Turns out, it was as simple as loosening 2 screws on the camera housing and rotating the camera lens 90° and tightening the 2 screws back down.Bought an auto trim removal tool kit from Amazon and removed the inside trim from the rear hatch door. Didn't want to drill into any wire harness. Looked inside the hatch door to see where I could drill a hole to mount the rear camera and where to run the video cable. Also had to buy a 19/32" (15mm) drill bit with a 10mm shank for the video cable connector to pass through the hole (Amazon). My drill kit only went up to 1/2" with a 3/8" drive. Drilled the holes to mount the rear camera. Then drilled a hole to pass the cable through the exterior. Found a good spot to drill a hole to get the cable inside the interior of the car. Mounted the camera and pushed the cable into the inside of the rear hatch door. Wrapped material around the cable and pushed it through the drilled hole and then pulled the cable tight. Then covered the material and cable (going through the hole) with clear RTV glue. Did the same thing with the cable going into the interior of the car. Then dressed the cable inside going through upper left side of the car, using cable clips.Found a good spot to mount the side cameras on the back doors, near the door hinges (no inside cables to worry about). Drilled the holes, wrapped the video cable with material and pushed it through the holes. Used the RTV glue to seal it from the weather. Using strong double sided tape, I attached the side cameras to the side of the doors. My wife found some awesome tape, that will lift 50 pounds. I couldn't pull the cameras off but could twist them off. Used wire clips to run the video cable around in the car interior. I had to use RTV glue for the wire clips because the double sticky tape wouldn't stick to the material in the car (it worked out good).I didn't do everything at once (I did it in stages). I mounted the display base with RTV glue on the dashboard (didn't want to drill into the dashboard, not knowing what was under it). The Mfg. recommended using the supplied screws to mount the display base to the dashboard. Waited 24 hours before I mounted the display to the display base. Painted a block of wood black, to mount the front dash cam on (let it dry overnight). Mounted the camera on the painted block, with the screws that came with the video system. Then used RTV glue to mount the wood block with the camera attached to it, to the dashboard in front of the display. I've been over some pretty rough roads and the RTV glue is still holding the display and front camera just fine. Probably even helps to reduce the vibration.There are 3 power supply wires. One for the ground, one wire for the display and one wire for the cameras. The one for the display stays powered all the time. The one for the cameras gets switched off when you turn the ignition off. Temporarily, I bought a cigarette lighter plug with a switch on it. I took it apart and added a wire that wouldn't be switched off. So I use that to switch the cameras off but not the display. One day soon, I will do it the right way.
