Great controller that punches way above its price!
This controller honestly surprised me. For being under $30, it has way more features than I expected. It feels like one of those products where you keep waiting to find the catch... and there just isn't one.The Hall Effect joysticks and triggers were a big reason I bought it, and they've been awesome. Everything feels really smooth and accurate, and it's nice knowing I don't have to worry as much about stick drift down the road. Whether I'm playing shooters or racing games, it just feels good.It's also really lightweight, but not in a cheap or flimsy way. It still feels solid in my hands, and all the buttons have a nice premium feel when you press them. Nothing rattles or feels loose like some budget controllers I've tried.Setting it up couldn't have been easier. I connected it to my PC in no time, then tried it with my Switch, my tablet, and even my TV, and it worked with all of them without giving me a headache. That alone made it worth buying.Honestly, if someone told me this controller cost $60, I probably would've believed them. Getting all these features for less than $30 is kind of crazy. My only complaint is now I can't blame my controller when I lose 😂If you're looking for a solid controller without spending a fortune, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a shot.Ver másVer menos

Great value: contains features normally reserved for pricier controllers.
At this price I don't know of any other controller that boasts hall effect sticks and high polling rate wireless connectivity. Using it with my steam game library has been effortless. The controller is also advertised as being compatible with android and Nintendo switch. I didn’t test android support, but switch support works very well. The C6 makes a very compelling replacement for the switch pro controller, considering how much those cost.The first thing you will notice when you hold the C6 in your hand is how relatively light weight it is. At first this was a turn-off for me; I like heavier electronics because I think they feel more premium. Maybe the other manufacturers believe this too, because every other controller I own weighs noticeably more. However, after a while I began to appreciate its low weight. Sometimes after playing for a couple hours with heavier controllers, one may begin to notice the controller and rest it on his lap. That doesn’t really happen with this controller. That being said, the weight of a controller isn’t very important to me. My satisfaction wouldn’t change if the controller’s weight were comparable to other popular options.The second thing you’ll notice when you pick up the controller is the feel of the buttons, sticks, and controllers. The face buttons are excellent; they’re membrane but they still give really tactile feedback when you push them. Lately game controllers that use mechanical switches for the face buttons have become popular. The feel of the C6’s membrane face buttons approximate the feel of switches as much as a membrane button can, while still retaining the silence of membrane buttons. Suffice it to say they’re not mushy at all. The shoulder buttons and analog triggers are on par with other common controllers. It should be mentioned that the analog triggers don’t have much travel. This really only impacts racing games: shallow analog trigger travel makes precise throttle and brake control difficult. For most other types of games short trigger travel is preferable. The analog sticks are good. The best part about them (the hall effect sensors) is hard to observe when the controller’s new, but I imagine that in a few years when my other hall effect-less controllers start to drift, the benefits of hall effect sensors will really speak for themselves.The weakest part of the whole controller is the d-pad. It works fine in games, but the feedback as you rock the d-pad around with your thumb isn’t as clearly defined as other gamepads. It wasn’t a turn off for me but it should be noted. The controller’s rumble is really impressive, likely due to the controller's low weight. It’s more powerful than most other controllers I’ve used. Some might not like that level of rumble strength, but fortunately for them it can be lowered. I really like the satin textured finish of the controller. It provides good grip, and doesn’t feel slippery or sweaty after long sessions like the switch pro controller does.To my knowledge, the abxylute C6 is the best gamepad at the $30 mark. Great Controller for PC!
I’ve been using this controller for a while now, and I’m really impressed with it. It feels great in the hands—lightweight but not cheap—and it’s comfortable enough to use for long gaming sessions.I mostly play retro games and racing games, and it’s been excellent for both. The triggers are super responsive, especially for racing games where smooth acceleration and braking make a difference. The buttons and sticks also feel accurate and responsive.One thing I really like is that it comes with a USB wireless dongle in addition to Bluetooth. I use the dongle on my PC for a more reliable connection, and it’s been rock solid.Battery life has been better than I expected, too. I’ve put quite a few hours on it between charges, so I’m not constantly reaching for a USB cable.Overall, this has turned out to be a great controller for the price. If you’re looking for a lightweight, comfortable wireless controller for PC gaming—especially if you enjoy retro or racing games—I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.Ver másVer menos

Pretty decent, with one minor flaw for PS3 Users
Edit: After more testing, the issue I had with the back buttons appears to be specific to PS3 mode.If you use this for PS3, I recommend using the dongle so the back buttons work correctly. Homebrew users beware, though, as for some reason the dongle doesn’t appear to work on homebrew consoles, so you’ll need a 3rd-party dongle like a Magic NS to get it to work.Original Review:ngl, a lot of the other reviews for this thing smack of AI. So, if any fellow humans come across this product, know that it’s on the better end of what you would expect for a $30 controller, with one noticeable flaw.The buttons all have decent tactile feel. The grippy rubber on the sides makes it feel high-end, although the overall construction feels lightweight and kinda cheap. It also connected to my PS3 with no issue, a feature that is not as easy to find as you might think.I had to return it though, because of an issue with the programmable back buttons. When you hold one of these buttons down, the controller locks all other inputs. So if you have it programmed as a run button, you can only run in a straight line. I realize this doesn’t impact all use cases for these buttons, but since I play a lot of Demon’s/Dark Souls, it makes them basically unusable for me.Ver másVer menos

I noticed from some users says the feel of the controller is too lightweight, giving it a less premium feel than more expensive alternatives which I can slightly agree with. Others mention that switching between multiple devices can take extra time which I can kinda agree with as well but who's turbo switching between devices though?Overall, despite the minor nit picking the Abxylute C6 offers outstanding value for its price. No Steam Deck Support, BAD Windows Support
Description is in error, device does not support the Steam Deck. This device uses the Linux-infamous "Shanwan" multi-mode controller firmware, which does not work with Linux. I also had issues using this controller on Windows. I would not recommend the C5P, the firmware needs an overhaul. The C6 probably has steam deck support, but this certainly does not.Update 09/29: The seller has reached out to suggest putting it in Bluetooth XInput mode, and sent an instructional video on how to do that. I already tried Bluetooth XInput mode before returning the controller, that would pair the controller, but after pairing, the controller’s buttons wouldn’t work. Seller’s advice is also in conflict with the infographic on the product listing which indicates you can use the dongle with the Steam deck as well as the advice I received when I emailed their support inbox (which said the dongle should work if I connect it through a hub). I also never would have left this review, if connecting the controller to Windows worked without issue. But I was unable to get a reliable connection using the dongle or using XInput mode on Windows, with a 10 foot direct line of sight connection.Having done some research since this, my advice for wireless Steam deck controllers, is to go for official first party controllers or one from 8Bitdo for SteamOS/Deck gaming, which are the controllers Valve has made special efforts to fully implement support. At a minimum find a couple Reddit posts that state they were able to get it to work with Linux or the Steam Deck.Abxylute also did reach out after this review to offer a refund, which I do appreciate.(though I will not use because I already returned the product) Even if their controller firmware is lacking, they do appear to care about having happy customers.Ver másVer menos
