  Feels great and not too shiny.

  Finally, the perfect daily foundation for my skin. I'm 55, with combination, cool toned skin. I wanted something light to medium coverage that lasted all day and didn't feel heavy. I used Revlon color stay for years, but it felt like a mask after several hours. The texture is perfect with this formula! It blends very well, doesn't settle into fine lines, and it isn't drying. Also, I love that it's luminous but not too shiny. It looks like my skin (but better) and feels natural. I recommend.Ver másVer menos

  I finally found my shade!!!!

  Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have mature skin. That is, I never took care of it, tanned way too much, etc. In the last couple of years, I've noticed my pores are appearing larger. I have been trying multiple foundations that are advertised as for "mature skin" or "color-matching", only to be disappointed.  I saw this Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation reviewed on quite a few websites and I figured, what do I have to lose? Other foundations that I have tried just did not look right because of color or, worse yet, settling into wrinkles.I am so happy that I gave this foundation a try. I have slightly olive-toned skin and did not want a "pinkish" tone so I chose the #129 - Neutral Cool color. It was a perfect match!!! It seemed to go on light but then develops to a more natural (and not pink) tint.As I said, I have "mature skin" and have developed deep smile lines and moderate crows feet. This foundation, paired with Maybelline Super Stay Liquid Concealer (SS Concealer #30) and Rimmel London Stay Matte - 003 - Primer has made a huge difference with those smile lines and the crows feet are now barely visible.I put a dab or two onto a makeup disk and then apply the foundation with a brush and it goes on smoothly. The liquid is not too thick & not too thin. But, the thing that I am most happy with is that it is a perfect match for my skin color. As I said, the color/tint appears light when you first apply it so, don't keep applying more. It'll change. You can build on it, though. I have not needed to. It seems to last about 10-12 hours without needing any correction.  With it's matte finish, it does not look like I have foundation plastered over my entire face. It evens out my ruddy skin to a perfect finish and tone.The only thing that I do not like is the bottle's cap. It feels pretty fragile to me.I truly wish I that I had found this earlier.   Finally found a foundation I like

  I originally tried this foundation because CoverGirl quit making the makeup I had been using, and I’ve been trying to find something that gives me a similar look and feel. By far, this is the closest I’ve found to what I was looking for!I got the 128 shade and really like it. The finish is super smooth without feeling heavy or cakey on my skin. One of the biggest things I like is that it doesn’t settle into or emphasize my fine lines and wrinkles like some foundations do.I’ve worn the 128 by itself and also paired it with the Maybelline Super Stay 24H Powder in 130 on top, and I LOVE how well the two work together. They blend really nicely and give me a smooth, finished look without making my skin feel weighed down.I’ve tried several foundations trying to replace my old CoverGirl makeup, and this is definitely the closest I’ve found so far.   A good find at a good price!

  I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm either in denial or always thinking there's always something better. I was in search of a foundation for the summer that would not come off in patches or slide off during the day. The weather has been brutal, and I've been sweating, even while sitting outdoors. I did a search for foundations that would not slide off and budget friendly and it recommended this one. The foundation is excellent, the match is very good! Once it sets, it strives to stay on my face. The finish is a beautiful, luminous matte. I don't put on much to accomplish the coverage I need and it does not look thick or cakey. Warning, though, be careful in your choice of a setting powder. I need some to mattify areas that I tend to get oily or to blur certain areas of the face. Powder can ruin the effect of the foundation too much and it can go cakey so I've been trying to learn and go straight with a mattifying setting spray and then just a little powder in areas where I need more blurring and mattifying.This is a good foundation. I don't know why I'm always thinking that I should search for something new in the hopes of making life easier. Learning to stick with this one for now, at least for the summer!Ver másVer menos

  Holy grail foundation

  I have been on a quest to find the perfect foundation for months (year?). I have fair, combination skin with cool pink undertones, and am nearing 40, so I need something that works for mature skin. Lighter coverage products work better for me as I age, and I hate the feeling of heavy makeup on my skin, but I still wanted something that would help my fine lines, large pores, and uneven texture. I also struggle with dry skin that also somehow gets very oily around my T-zone.This stuff is just. Perfect. Exactly what I wanted and needed. It has a luminous finish that gives the perfect amount of dewy for me, but holds oil at bay in my worst areas. It blends and layers beautifully. It feels light on the skin and doesn't cake or crease. I have tried everything, from high-end, expensive brands (hello Chanel), to drug store, and my search stops here, on a very budget friendly option (thank goodness!).The ONLY thing that could make it better was if it had spf, but I would also hate for this formula to be compromised in any way.
