A cost effective alternative to EXPENSIVE GE filters with RFID tags
Our GE fridge required proprietary expensive water filters with RFID tags or it wouldn't work. Rather than hacking the tag off of the first filter and taping it onto each subsequent XWF (no chip) filter replacements I started using these filters. They are much less expensive than true GE filters and seem to work just as well. I hate when manufacturers try to force you to use their very expensive consumable items like the GE XWFE filters. This brand is one of the first to offer an alternative that still has the RFID chip necessary to make to water and ice function in the GE fridge. Quality of the filter, easy of installation and water quality seem just as good as the GE filters.Ver másVer menos

Easy-to-Install Water Filter with Reliable Performance.
These MARRIOTTO XWFE-compatible refrigerator water filters installed easily and fit securely without any leaks. The built-in chip was recognized immediately by my refrigerator, allowing normal operation without issues. Water flow has remained steady, and the taste and clarity have been consistent. The filters arrived well-packaged and were simple to replace. Overall, this 2-pack offers dependable performance and good value as a replacement water filter option.Ver másVer menos

Good filters
This is our second time purchasing these filters for our refrigerator. They work well and last a while. One filter lasts us about 6 months.

The refrigerator easily recognized the chip on the filter. Easy installation good tasting water
I was kind of skeptical when bying an off brand, especially that almost everything needs to be from the manufacturer. I have had replacements in the past where the chip was counterfit. The unit fits perfectly on my GE refrigerator. More importantly, the chip was instantly recognized and I got water from my door. The water tastes the same as from the OEM models, but at a much lower cost. I was also concerned where the product was made, until I determined the OEM I believe came from the same country. My only concern now is if the filter will actually last the six months. I don't use that many gallons from the door, but now 2 months after installation, the refrigerator says the filter is 63%. Very easy to install, just by removing the plastic cover. The filter also comes with month stickers that go on the filter. The output from the door is decent with a steady good flow. So far, after 2 months I am happy, but I hold off on the last star until the 6 months are complete.Ver másVer menos

A good quality and less expensive alternative to the ridiculously expensive factory chip filters.
Our GE refrigerator uses a water filter that has a chip in it, presumably to tell you when to change it. An identical filter, that will fit but doesn't have the chip, caused an error code and doesn't allow the water function to work. These got good reviews and were very much less expensive that the factory original ones. so we decided to try them. They work great, filtering out the somewhat unpleasant taste of our city water. They fit just like the originals, and are just as easy to replace...Just a quarter turn and it pulls right out without any spillage. We are still on the first one after almost 3 months, so it appears they last as long as the GE brand, making them a great value.Ver másVer menos

Works perfectly in xwfe/xwf GE refrigerators
So to start with, I had to do a little bit of research online as I did not want to pay $50 for a standard GE xwfe refrigerator filter for my refrigerator. This one I bought for around $30. My refrigerator is the one in which the filter has to be inserted directly up into the chamber. Installing the filter took basically zero effort. The only thing to keep in mind is is that the counter when it resets starts at 99 however, it will go down as you use the filter. When installing it, you will experience a kind of intensity of the water pressure initially however afterward things will flow normally. The overall Taste of the water is all right. I installed this filter roughly in October of 2025 and the counter currently is around 64. I believe that the filter is lasting well. Overall I am glad that I was able to find an alternative because apparently GE Appliances has a chip that prevents any other off-brand filters from being inserted thus having major control over consumers. So if you have an xwfe/xwf refrigerator, definitely go with this one.Ver másVer menos
