  Do not buy is shoe.

This is a hard review to write. I have ran in Solomon shoes for 20 plus years, but I am finding that the quality is less and less. The first thing is that they are being sold as a woman's shoe, however the sizing is based on men sizes. It makes me wonder if they are even a women's shoe. I can say that they do not fit like any of my other Solomon women's shoes. The next thing is that there is not a lot of padding in the shoe bed and I had to add to additional padding to make the shoe work. Lastly, the laces are quite short. I do not recommend this shoe. The are a very big disappointment.Ver másVer menos

  Waterproof for wet conditions

This is the second pair o Solomon trail runners I’ve bought. In winter with rain and snow not to mention puddles it comforting to know your shoes are waterproof. I’ll admit I’m lazy and the laces are easy yet snug another plus.

  New product line to me

It seemed forever to get the goods shipped. Once shipped, it took time to cross the country, only to have it delivered by USPS. We are fortunate to have a good relationship with our local carrier, and she delivered it promptly. Product is occasionally uncomfortable to wear, since I have a narrow heal. Bought it for the color, which is lovely.Ver másVer menos

Not as good as previous offerings from the brand.

I've been buying Salomon trail running shoes since 2013 and this is my seventh lair. This is the first time I haven't been completely satisfied. The footbed on these is much shallower than previous models, so I can't use full-length orthotics in them. The insoles that are built into the shoe aren't good enough to go without, so my compromise has been to just use heel inserts. It's not ideal. In addition, the lacing system on these doesn't offer a good place to tuck in the aglet that connects the two sides of the laces. Previous models have had a nice little pocket on the tongue of the shoe to hide that piece. These have a skinny elastic band that the laces often come loose from and bounce around. The shoes are still generally the same quality construction as other pairs of Salomons I have owned, but the price has more than doubled since I bought my first pair.Ver másVer menos
