Monsterous Brightness Even in the sun!
Used this for my shoots and these have worked amazingly every time. This is probably one of the most brightest 7" field monitors you would ever see. The brightness was beyond anything I have seen before. This monitor will never leave you blindsided by a dark screen ever again with it's intense clarity in direct sunlight. Nice to add on a extra hood they sell for this screen though not really necessary with how bright it is.For the value of this item, it's perfect and hard to find anywhere else. The size is pretty compact as well as the weight being perfectly good as well. The color reproduction is great as well. It is pretty nice how it gives you several different options in the menus to change color values, contrasts, sharpness, as well as more.Overall you can't beat the price for it's great brightness and durable heavy duty plastic.Ver másVer menos

Field Monitor experience
I used it on a bright sunny day at a car and van show. It worked really well. The video screen was clear and bright, I could easily see what I was shooting. The two batteries powered it for the entire hour I was there. It’s a little heavy but it works really well and I would recommend it.Ver másVer menos

Great monitor lack luster cables
The 7” Neewer Camera field monitor is a great product. It works well for video with my Panasonic Lumix G85. The interface is good, and it displays all the graphs, grids, lines and focus aids. The dual batteries have ample power to run it for hours. Even in bright sunlight the image on the monitor doesn’t get washed out. My only complaint is the quality of the Micro HDMI cord. After a few days of use, the cord broke. The monitor is a good price and works excellent. I would still buy it even if I knew the cord was poor quality. I would recommend getting an appropriate high quality cord that fits your camera when purchasing this monitor and not relying on the cords it comes with. To be fair the Lumix would work better with a 90 degree micro HDMI due to how its output is set up. Other cameras may not be as hard on the cables the monitor came with.Ver másVer menos

Best Monitor for all your needs
Perfect monitor for all of your video needs. Very easy menu to navigate. Bright in the sun but i definitely recommend getting a sun shade for ease of mind. Connects instantly but doesn’t show pictures. Very durable and best budget monitor to get.

Nice and bright but a few issues
Very bright monitor and it does seem to function as designed as far as menus and features. Nice included itemsMy concerns with the monitor are the color accuracy is way off and even manually adjusting never got it right. I never got it to match the camera. Focus peaking is very "aggressive" and vague meaning it, no matter the sensitivity level, picks up and contrast edges so it is very hard to see what is actually being identified as in focus so, all or nothing.I tried 3 different brands/models at this price/feature range and this Neweer model was the worst with the peakingAs of this date, there were no firmware updates or useful solutions at the manufacturers site.Ver másVer menos
